Well they nerfed the only good dmg per wrath spender we had, Fires Of Heaven so I don't really see buffing these other skills will make a big difference when soloing higher torment than 1-2.Then you'll be excited that the Crusaders look to be getting some much needed tweaks in the next patch. Good to see, Crusaders need a damage buff as it is. Great at smashing hordes of white mobs, but champs and elites are a right pain, and good luck trying to kill bosses on T1 before enrage kicks in.
Hoping these changes will do the trick.

Finally hit Paragon level 200 :)
Took a bit longer than it should have, but oh well.
The best way to gear up your character is to run with same-class players :>.
Recently I've gone from #8 eDPS world to like 38 and started to lose the will to play. >_> and with the fire damage nerf it's pretty much going to be over for 80% of my current gear. RIP DH.

On another note, finally got my first piece of the Akkhan's set last night (Crusader set) :D I'd gotten a piece of the Raekkor's (barb set) the other day too. Hopefully this means I'll be seeing more set pieces drop.

Im loving the changes so far, started fresh with a crusader and im finding actual usuable items for my class as i level up. Plus the fact that you can change the difficulty level early on is fantastic. No longer breezing through normal makes the game extremely challenging :D, found a legendary material in my first 10 mins of play, i have no idea what it does but i enjoy pausing to research the new items as i find them. The excitement is back :P

Honestly, the game is what it should've been when it came out two years ago. No AH, lots of endgame play, good drops, and I like the new friends list (it's a lot like stream). I can see myself playing this for a long time.Definitely, also when 2.1 comes out its gonna be so fun :D

The Akkhan's set doesn't have a shield. The RROG reduces the number by 1 when it comes to set item stacking to get the set bonuses. (All different set)It's odd that you even get the 500 from the boots. The ring basically just reduces the requirements for set bonuses by 1 piece, to a minimum of 2. So, you need at least 2 set pieces before the ring works (at which point you will get both the 2 and 3 piece set bonus where applicable).

Heh, I got full Akkhan after 2.0.5 in about 30 hrs. T6 is a breeze after 6 days as a crusader.

Your RNG is obviously better than mine. It was really difficult for me to get my pieces. And yeah, it makes the game a lot easier and really opens up what kind of builds you can use as a crusader.

You need to try Shadow / Impale DH, pretty fun in solo GR's
D3 is better than D2.. by far.. Everything gameplay wise is improved, the only knock against it was the Auction house greed.. Everything else was fantastic.I stumbled into this thread and this was the first post I read. I just want to say I disagree completely. I'm not a D2 "purist", I don't prefer the game because I think it's a more pure experience or anything like that. I prefer it because I think the gameplay is more interesting and varied. For me, it was three things that killed D3, all of them related to how little you could customise your character, which killed the game for me after a single playthrough of each character:

Of course lots of things improved; there are lots of new things to do, there are some nice gameplay and interface tweaks, the visuals are massively improved and the cinematics, in true Blizzard fashion, are incredible — and I enjoyed playing D3, but the replayability suffered immensely IMO.

...except you can customize stats with Paragon points, to some extent. Not as much as in other games, but it's enough to have a noticable impact. Eg, my paragon point distribution for the same char is very different, depending on if I play solo, or in group, and which role I fill in the group, and what kind of gear I have. Eg, if I find a piece of gear that gives me significant damage boost, at the cost of vitality, I may very well end up putting some points into Vitality (and take those off of Dexterity) to compensate.
Or if I'm playing healer monk, then crit%, crit damage, and dexterity are of little use, and CDR, attack speed, and vitality are much more important. When I play DPS, the paragon point distribution is very different. Mind you, after a certain point (~PL800) this starts to matter less, because you'll be stacking primary stat from then on, as everything else is gonna be maxed. Seasons helped a lot with replayability, imo. I just rush through the season with a friend now, done in a weekend or two, and then sit out the rest of the season. Two weekends of Diablo 3 every few months is just enough. :)

i returned to this game @ S9 to get the stash tabs on both EU and NA.
i'm not a fan of the tabs being locked behind these objectives, but at least it gives me some goals, right? :D
