If they ship in time before this GB closes, the 'classic black' keycaps from the candybar sets should be a good indicator. They're supposed to be the same coloring as these, and are also from infinikey.

This must an error.

On The Key Company website WoB Apple is listed as $120. That is roughly €107. And I am guessing VAT and some revenue for CandyKeys has to be added which puts it in the ballpark of ~€135 for me. Coming from Europe, I will be better off buying from The Key Company itself if the price stays like that.

Consider that in EU also the shipping costs should be much lower to be delivered from GMK's factory..

You are absolutely right, but I meant 1U R3 CTRL. I know it is VERY non standard, but it's what I use (I have a Lily58)

What's with the weird x glyph on the escape key on the apple set? there's an actual escape glyph on apple keyboards (and in their UI): ⎋

If that's not an option, why not go with the "esc" text as on katakana and as on any current apple keyboard?

Thanks for the answer, makes sense that there will be some visible differences because of the material. Might still grab a kit before the GB is over just to have a plain WoB, it fits pretty much anything after all.

Very happy, I also was on pbt katakana and those came out a lot more grey than black. These are incredibly close to being black. In certain lighting it's not exactly black but for the most part its real nice.

Oh yeah, I should post some pics. This is the Apple WOB kit.







I'd say the reverse dye-sub job is pretty great, the black holds up well even with a lamp shining directly on it and the legends seem really sharp. No obvious alignment issues to me, but that's also not something I'm very good at detecting. Good texture, but I think I prefer the texture of my EPBT Extended 2048 set, which feels silkier I guess. Overall, I find it superior to the EPBT set because it doesn't have any of the warping issues or stabilizer issues I had with that set.

My one complaint with the set is that the homing bars are not very pronounced at all. I believe that is something they are planning on adjusting, though, and they still work, so I can live with it. Overall, big thumbs up.

Received boths sets in Canada and very impressed with the packaging! Definitely makes the GMK packaging look cheap in comparison. The dye sub quality is fantastic and only complaint I would have would be echoing that the homing bars aren't pronounced enough.
