I got mine last week. My PCB came with the RGB SMDs unsoldered? I wasn't aware that we have to solder them.
I remember getting an email from yuktsi awhile ago saying they'd come separate and he'd solder them on for you if you requested it. I requested it but never got a response so fingers crossed!

Was there any GB???how much is it?

There was a very small private group buy for the polycarbonate boards several months back. Priced similarly to the aluminum version.

Be careful not to hold the iron to them for too long, they're very easy to burn (I damaged two, one dead and one just off-colored). The PCB came with a couple extra though.

Also keep in mind that they're connected in a series which means that they'll only work if all the LEDs in the series are connected. Additionally, remember to set up firmware for LEDs so they actually light up when they're connected.

Mine got a bit funky when it was closer to me, said would be delivered then 2 days later it arrived then 3 days after that the mail service who handled it in Aus phoned me to make sure it arrived.
that said it did arrive fast.

Mine is still stuck at "record created" since June 3rd.

Not sure the carrier picked it up yet.

Looks like I jinxed it. Scheduled delivery was for the 12th, that came and went with no keyboard, and tracking hasn't updated since the 9th.

Patience is a virtue I guess.

Mine hasn’t even shipped as of today. I sent yuktsi a PM a few days ago, but haven’t heard back from him. Maybe he’s still having finals, I don’t know. But I’d like to get mine soon or at least get a statement when he’s going to ship it.

I so this page the other day and took a sneak peek at the storefront. There are some links for the different designers.

i read in the IC that there probably wont be a r2, is that true?

correct

65te (the next version) will run on typemachina, but will be different to 910

Gotcha..is there a thread on it or is it just in the talks right now? dont really see anything about it

there's a thing for it on the typemachina site, but it's not really public knowledge yet

nothing is known about it really

I stumbled upon that site accidentally a few weeks ago while Googling around for the poly 910. What a mysterious site.

i've been looking for that site..can't seem to find..?
https://www.typemachina.com

what...that never showed up for me... :'( ty

it's not registered on google since it's still under construction

But I found it on Google.
