I'd personally love to see this happen in SA. That's becoming my new favorite profile.

Form has been filled out.

In my notes, I suggested supporting the SmallFry 40% board. Details here, since it we be released in the next month or two. Perhaps you could combine it as a kit with the HHKB kit?

Just a thought.

edit: Trying to figure out the best way to make more layouts supported.
I want support for the following layouts:
Smallfry / 40%
60%
87-key ANSI
Numpad
Possibly ergodox

Check out the stripe concept in my Typewriter IC.  I think it's an easy way to make more accessible variant sets.  I stole the stripe idea from Bunnylake and built on it some.

And remember, you don't have to make everyone happy with the set.  If you did, it would be ungainly and expensive.....just don't change it to SA profile.

Nice looking set, I hope it takes off in the next try.

As long as there is tsangan and hhkb kits I so in on this :D

With a tsangan kit and hhkb kit would this be possible? http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/layouts/08cab4e18bedd84cfe291e2202b0d8cb

You would need the 87 keyset and tsangan/hhkb combo kit for this.

I like the left-side one too.  We might run into issues with SP's legend limitations though.  There are minimum legend width and minimum empty space requirements.

I emailed Melissa from SP but I don't think they're open on the weekends, so she won't answer until Monday. Perhaps I could make the legend bigger on the key.

Alright everyone, I'm working on some summer assignments for school today and I have drivers ed next week so I may not have much time to work on the set until next weekend.

GreenTea R2 is going to have the following kits:

Smallfry/40% kit (contains both layouts for Smallfry board and some tea kanji winkeys)
60% kit (Contains keys for a 60% board, tea kanji winkeys, a capslock/ctrl swap set, and Pn/Fn keys for the Poker II)
TKL kit (Contains a TKL ANSI layout)
Numpad (Just a numpad)
Tsangan kit (7u spacebar, 1.5u ctrl/alt keys, 1u winkeys and tea kanji winkeys, 1.75u right shift)

I also need to make a menu key vector for the menu keys.

Still deciding whether to add the HHKB keys to the 60% kit or the tsangan kit.

Do the 60% and 40% kits include the alpha keys as well? The reason I ask is that I wouldn't want to buy the alphas twice and I would be interested in both a 60% and a 40%.

Just a thought, but it might be easier to just offer the TKL set as a base and then just include the special keys for the 60%, 40% and HHKB as a "Minimal" child set. Personally, I would buy the TKL, Minimal and Tsangan set to give me the flexibility to use them an any of my keyboards.

Yeah, each kit will be all the keys for a complete board. I don't want to run too many kits and I don't want the set to be too expensive for people who just want the keys for a 40% or 60%.

Yeah, each kit will be all the keys for a complete board.

That may be cause for fewer orders, depending on price. Knowing that I would be buying two complete sets, I don't know that I'll be getting a 40% and a 60%. I would probably choose one or the other.

That's why I like the stripe concept.  It allows you to buy fir your kit with minimal overlap.

should we have 4 keys in R1 for above the numberpad? even blanks will do the job just so we don't have to be stuck with using novelty keys. Anyhow I voted for SA, never tried one and wouldn't mind to try, plus they look thicker than the rest profiles sets

@numiru: Don't make full kits for 40%/60%/TKL , this is not a good approach, it will only split the orders and lower the chances to reach the MOQ.
From watching other GB's matt3o has the best approach.
1 set for ALPHA (where you can include also the 1u |\ key )
1 TKL modifiers set (that can be used also for 60%) (this includes F1-12, navigation, PG UP/DOWN etc, 1.25 on the bottom row with 6.25 space bar)
1 40% modifiers set
1 Numpad set including also a top row (for multimedia or something like that, have a look at Midnight for inspiration)
1 Tsangan ( 1.5 mods, 1u Win/Menu, 7x spacebar, Short 1.75u right shift, 1u FN, HHKB Style 1.5u backspace
1 ISO Kit (ISO Return, short left shift and the 2 extra keys, don't know what's on them, I'm not using ISO, but a lot of EU guys will love you for that ;)
And optional, I like this one the most, but that's me: Caps lock replacement kit : 1.75u Control for people who like the HHKB layout. You could include this one in TKL or TSANGAN
You could make an extra kit with some weird sized caps, I would not include them in other kits because it might raise the price too much.

The best thing is to try and get the best price for each kit, too many options increase the price and people don't buy it.

And would skip the blanks, some might get upset, but based on statistics blanks never hit MOQ (or only on rare occasions) and would only split the orders.

+1 for this

And if it's going to be DSA then one kit for Ergodox modifiers would be nice.
