Tp4 sleeps there.. i got different computers in every room. which i rotate throughout the day.

GET ****EN TINDER

I read this as a slogan.

GET ****EN

TINDER

Any Success ?

I've been with the same woman for seven years, before Tinder was a thing, so I couldn't give you any personal experiences.

That said, I know plenty of people who have had success with it.

I would say that my internet speed is  fast (but not very fast) and i would say that my school's internet is not the best and very slow. It has some weak spots in the school such as the science class, and many others and where they need it the least, but it's fastest in any of the computer rooms.
If you want a medium connection (not too fast not too slow) you go to the resource room.

Have been pretty happy with Comcast since I've gotten them. I know they are a shady company, but I lucked out & we got all new lines & equipment when they finally brought the service down to my street. I actually pay for just 100Mbps package, but have never seen it under 250Mbps DL speed. The UL speed is always at around 12Mbps, although it has never given me any problems with slow or failed uploads. So it's kinda one of those situations where I don't want to call them & have them realize I'm getting triple the speed I'm paying for LOL!

I moved to a new place recently. Luckily we have fiber here. I'm paying $10 a month so I can't complain.  :)

So I finally got around to setting up my desktop PC. I haven't had the chance to test my new internet connection wired until now. Turns out my wifi is limiting the speeds by quite a bit and that the connection is significantly faster than I expected. ;D

don't wry nikh,  Eventhough Fios is chargn' me for gigabit,  they cap my torrent upload speed at 100Mbps,  I only get gigabit on downloads, and nontorrent uploads..

In that sense, most advertised gigabit service = fake.

My uploads aren't capped by them, as far as I can tell.  I cap my torrent uploads at 200 connections and 200 MB/s total upload speed.  I can upload a 15 gig file in under 10 minutes (to dropbox/youtube).

One thing that messed with my upload/download speeds was the "killer networking" software that came with my computer.  It was throttling everything until I uninstalled it...

u can upload torrents @ 200 Mbit ?

Mine seems capped at 100 Mbit

Are you sure those slots arn't filled by local fios members ?

because they have a higher allowance for fios to fios, and fios to comcast.   But anything non-local,   they throttle HARD..

is this on public or private tracker

As a test I just uploaded a 1 GB VOB file to dropbox, and it averaged 180Mbp/s? The file was "done" uploading in 52 seconds.  As for trackers, it's random tpb magnets or nyaa.

drop box isn't throttled,  for me it's only torrent upload.

I have seen it go to 2-300mbps , but they're mostly local connections, and range up to 40mbps max per connection.

This is different from behavior of seedboxes for example, where you can see full bandwidth on single connections.

So, I guess the reason I never noticed the 100Mbps or 3MB/s cap on torrent traffic is that my bandwidth cap was set at 1200kB/s.   Whoops.

I have 2Gbps symmetrical fiber, but the latest speed tests just aren't showing it..

But believe me, it's there... with a 1Gbps copper backup to boot.

Having ignored many 'unmissable' upgrade offers over the years my 39/8 fibre with 40gb/month cap is now faster and the cap (which I never got anywhere near) seems to have disappeared.

In Romania, you might not have an indoor toilet, but you must have at least a 1Gbps Internet connection.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Fixed.........Down 292  /  Up 52.

I swear they purposely lower speeds to get customers to call in and get pitched new products and services.  Nothing was done on their side, and after I hung up the phone, speed was magically back up.
