If anyone is just buying caps and not the board I will buy your short shift if you don't need it.

Doesn't OP say you can buy just the caps at a slightly higher price than GB with the keyboard price?
I think it does but I don't have $80 for a cap set when I only need a 1.75 cherry profile shift.

2? I've only seen Mimic's. Which one is the other one? O.o
I was about to say the same thing... Who else is doing this besides Mimic?

Just to straighten this out. Mimic Cables is a company owned by tjcaustin. Mimic cables or mimic is not making an HHKB case. Mistakemistake sold Mimic to TJ. His new ST Designs or mistakemistake's work is separate from mimic.

AFAIK, the second HHKB project isn't ready to be unveiled yet. Perhaps there's a 3rd HHKB top in the works that I don't know about but I will let the owner of the project I do know about step forward and reveal the information when they feel comfortable to do so.

Thanks for the clarification, sir!

In any case, my money is as good as gone. God bless my soul (and my wallet)

Correct on the second one. When they decide it's time to make an announcement, or if they want to, they will.

Also, paid my deposit today. Can't wait to have this beautiful hunk of metal in front of me.

Have just re-sent my order to your email address here 225ozzy@naver.com .

Hope everything is covered, if not please flag me as soon as possible.  Remember you have to build this keyboard for me because you are dealing with a COMPLETE, inept, moronic individual who can barely breathe on his own without a detailed visual description, showing me how to do it  :thumb: .

Hence please be patient when it comes to building this keyboard on my behalf  :-[ .

Invoice number 13 paid!  ;D
Now the waiting game.

I'm not sure which keyboard you gonna build first, but hopefully mine's not the last.
If it's the last, take your time and build it with love.  :-*

Hei kin, there're some thing I want to ask before putting my order in:

- What resistors should I order if I'm planning to go with amber LED?
- What is old black? Is this the same with vintage black?

Do you like bright LED? so You have to use low ohm resistors. (general 820ohm)
Old Black = Vintage Black (I use WYSE)

  • What's the final word on PCB color? Is there a choice or did everyone settle on one color?
  • Are the cases regular anodized or hard anodized?

There is a choice of color. (I want to provide you with your favorite color)
TX1800 is NOT Hard Anodized.

The OP says red, white, and green.

All of which shall be covered by a Stainless Steel or Aluminum Plate, hence why bother having a coloured pcb at all?

Yeah the pressure that is felt within my jeans is somewhat amazing.  I have trouble walking in a straight line because some of the others here feel I am attracted to them due to the huge bulge that's growing due to this Group Buy.

Currently have to release the tension before coming back, which is a first because the Mrs is expecting me to unleash upon her especially when we get back home but now I'll be drained completely but I'm sure once I see a few more TX1800 photos it'll be back again, that very tight feeling  ;) .

Based on what he told me, it's $104.37. This is for ordering of the TX1800 set though.
$4.37 is the Paypal fee.

one more question kin: what is the amount of the deposit (or the 1st payment) supposed to be, does it have a certain amount of the total order like some % or what?
Based on what he told me, it's $104.37. This is for ordering of the TX1800 set though.
$4.37 is the Paypal fee.

it's not %.
deposit of housing buyer is $100+paypal fee.
deposit of other parts buyer is around 30%.

I couldn't have become the keyboard aficionado I am today without the lovely community here at GH. And I don't think that I would have gotten hype for all the GBs without your prose Elrick.  :thumb:
