2/22/2017: Sorry for going dark on this ongoing buy. Lots of things happening, jumping from China to the US (and, in 3 hours, back to China), shipping stuff, excuses excuses, etc. Arriving in China late 24th, will process orders and questions on the 25th.

Hm, given the colors, this looks like a really interesting option for experimenting with dying.

Encountering some delays due to the holiday season. Clarification:

The original plan was to send out the orders directly from Mz's shipping elves, but they said the China Post PO was too far from where they were located (kind of an odd excuse, right?), so they instead sent the orders to me. I reviewed the economical shipping options available, EMS ePacket and China Post small packet. They were priced similarly, but EMS was physically closer (about 1.3km away as opposed to 1.7). So I took the box of caps and went to the EMS PO, to be informed that ePacket is only available if I have a registered business. Welp. It was late, so I walked to the China Post PO the next day with the packages, and they informed me that the boxes for the caps cannot be used to ship as they are "too colorful" (purple w/ gold text). And also I need to write the origin and destination addresses 3 times by hand for each package, twice for custom declaration forms, once on the package itself. So I have some kraft paper on the way to me which will be used to cover up the packages as I couldn't find some in the local stores.

Expedited orders were already sent out. Those went from Mz's place to a reshipper in Guangzhou, and were processed and shipped. I didn't send out tracking numbers for those individually, but they should have arrived by now.

Have things settled with the shipping delays?
Hovering over the buy button but would like to know if they still ship immediately.
Thanks

Is there a count of each size of key included in this kit?  By color

Mainly I'm interested in if there are 10*1.5U and 4*2U suitable for an Ergodo, and in which colors in a mixed kit.

i think there are enough 2u keys for an ergodox. three on numpad and one on backspace.

not complete though because the box contains 4 layers? and the other ones not in the picture are not dyed. i only dyed the ones that i am going to use.

this set did not come from the GB, i bought it from someone i know so im not sure if the keys that i have are also the same amount (141 keys) from this GB

What's the cost for getting just a ton of 1u caps and a few deep dish? Considering these for a Planck-esque board. Min. 75 total keys, ideally 71 1u and 4 deep dish. Is white the only color available?

What should I expect in terms of China Post shipping?

I still see this for my order as well. Maybe someone else knows?

There's a good chance it was delayed as well due to Chinese New Year's. This is my first time sending out stuff en masse via China Post. If stuff ends up missing, I'll send a replacement via priority as I'm probably not dealing with China Post again as there are a lot of hoops to jump through for shipping and it appears to be awfully slow.

Sorry dude, they come in predetermined sets. White and gray are the only color options (and a mix of white alphas with gray mods).

Also how is this different than what's on Sentraq?

That's interesting. I didn't know Sentraq stocked the same thing. Differences seem to be Sentraq's only has 108 keys with no option for dual tone.

And a general update: February is here. Shipping services will recommence shortly in China, so invoices for pending orders will be sent out in about 3 days from now. Leaving for my own flight to the US (for real this time) in about 14 hours.

I just checked, and they finally updated tracking, so it looks like just a very long Chinese New Year's delay.

I signed up and filled out the order form, but I just noticed a couple of folks who think they missed the cutoff. I saw "no end date" and assumed that wasn't possible, but this is my first GB (my first post here actually).

Could we have a general update on the status of the GB?

Dragonfax,

I paid for my keycaps back on Dec 12th and I still do not have them. I got tracking info on Jan 10th but they fell off the grid and status wasn't updated for a month. I messaged Jian/LunarisDream during the Chinese New Year and he said to message him again after the New Year; I have messaged him several times since then but I have not heard back from him since Jan 26th. He's not dead though, I can see him posting on reddit.

In the last couple days, my shipping status was updated again, so I'm hoping I still get my caps.

Hi all. My apologies for leaving this buy for the past month and a half.

The set is apparently available on Aliexpress and is cheaper than what I am able to offer when factoring in shipping, and should be relatively reasonable as well. I only see 13 sets in stock but that may just be a dummy inventory number. My "economical" shipping option, China Post, which I used for the first time ever, was troublesome, time-consuming, awfully slow, and (according to the tracking) have not updated ever since clearing customs and presumably leaving the country after a month or more. It simply doesn't make sense to order through me for the time being.

So here are my proposed options for the current buyers who have yet to receive their set from China Post:

1. A full refund, shipping costs included, on the condition that, should the sets ever arrive, you pay me the original invoiced amount.

2. A refund of the keyset in full, minus shipping costs (which are no longer in my possession), and if the set ever arrives, you can keep it for free.

3. Continue waiting on the chance that China Post pulls through, with the other options remaining available should you change your mind. Obviously the best option for me, but the wait has been quite long already.

Please send me a PM if you are affected and I will get you taken care of.
