Looks like you have that slight color discoloration line as well

Kinda bummed about it tbh. Does anyone know if there is any possible way to remove that line without re-anodizing?

Where is the line located you speak of? I'm on a crappy connection at the moment and not able to look at high res images.

In pictures 2 & 3, there is a faint line on the top and bottom aluminum case that runs parallel to the angel of the top case. Looks darker or lighter than the rest of the case depending on the viewing angle. It's faint and hardly noticeable, but it's there.

EDIT: I've only seen the faint line on the Silver/Gray boards.

Hmm. Hardly noticeable on the images. I will have to check on mine when I get back home from vacation. I've got top black and bottom silver case. Silver bottom is not in use at the moment though. As I am using the acrylic bottom.

I got my box, packaging was fantastic, 5/7!! every thing checks out! one question: is the silver top/bottom supposed to be the same shade as the silver aluminum switch plate? mine is different shades when putting them next to each other. starting to think i got the blue-grey instead. can anyone confirm if the silver alum case has the same shade as the silver alum switch plate? thanks guys..

I've also ordered silver but looks more blue-grey ish as well. Not that I mind at all and I think it looks fantastic either way but I was wondering if my order was switched around with someone else's

You ever get the issue where when using leds that when typing really fast for a long period if time, the leds fade down? I know there's a mode where that's the behavior but I'm getting it no matter what when all the leds are on...

This happens to me also. Both on my Octagon and Orion. No clue why though. Would be nice to know what is causing this.

This happens to me also. Both on my Octagon and Orion. No clue why though. Would be nice to know what is causing this.

Great to know I'm not the only one, I'm going crazy trying to get the LEDs to do what I want lol. I noticed that if I leave it at default max brightness with the rgb backlight the dimming doesn't occur. However if I'm using any customized led setting then it'll happen.

That is where I always buy mine from too. The actual SIP sockets are that expensive from Zeal, just the shipping. It is worth it though, he uses DHL overnight shipping and I absolutely LOVE getting my stuff the next day so I can go ahead and get started. Totally worth it!
