I believe there are Cherry RGB switches which are pretty hard (impossible??) to find. you can swap the clear housing from gaterons to cherry though I believe!

Thanks for the info. I've got ~100 65g R1 Zealios that I could use for that. I'll probably not use them anyway. Although it is a wee bit of a shame to use them for that purpose. Initially I was on planning to sell them cheaply.

Best bet would be to use an RGB Corsair K-series board as a donor for those. The tops don't have slots for in-switch LEDs though, so you can't get the the classic nixie look exact with them.

I don't think you'll need to worry about soldering the SMD RGB LEDs, but I Don't know about SMD in-switch LEDs. Everything else should be soldered already.

Assuming all rounds follow the same sort of scheme that Round 1 followed, Round 3 would probably hit your doorstep in November. That's assuming creation of all the parts takes 2 months like Round 1 did and then giving like a month of leeway for shipping and such.
