Does anyone know if it's possible to program the command key for a Mac? How about custom commands? The how-to page on duck's site isn't super clear. I can program everything else no problem.

I gues it shouldn't be _too_ difficult to do this with a cnc machine. What type of pain gives the engraving "colouring"? I assume it's something like masking tape over the plate before the cnc machine starts, and when the cnc machine is finished, the paint (?) is sprayed over.

command key on OSX is the same as windows key on windows.

Whatever is convenient.

For those not super used to paypal, direct payment shouldn't actually matter from a protection standpoint since we're sending it as Goods and Services.

I have a source to be able to make these inserts fairly cheaply. I'm CONUS, but I have a close friend who runs a CNC factory overseas.

I'd be willing to have him cut them if someone can give me parameters such as
1. What is it made of?
2. Price point?
3. Finishing?
4. Anything else you can think of

3. I think offering a mirror finish and a brushed finish would be sufficient
4. It should be countersunk and be approximately 3.5mm in height

IIRC metals are usually already sold in multiple finishes so it may not affect price too much

My main concern is shipping, at 500g minimum a piece, it may not be worth shipping anywhere other than locally. I'm probably going to cut mine in Singapore unless your friend has really good rates.

i dont see dimensions for the thickness of the plate in the file. it's just 2D. anyone have that info?

It doesn't really matter how thick it is so long as it doesn't touch the PCB, I feel a good gauge would be the thickness of the acrylic inserts, which are approximately 3.5mm
