I emailed alphakeys with no response and filed a paypal claim in order to get refunded - which they didn't repond to either.

For gmk nimbus buyers, it seems that vala supply will be filling for bankruptcy and will probably not be fulfilling orders if there are still some outstanding. Would recommend warning people not to buy from vala and doing the same of course. It's not confirmed but if they are ghosting designers it's a very good sign that something is going wrong.
edit: this is something I posted to make people aware that things could be going wrong for people with outstanding orders if there are any, this was just a recommendation to not buy anything as well, just in case of a worst case scenario. Please be careful and alert about things. Also if you do have an outstanding order, I would recommend a chargeback if possible, better to be safe than sorry.
Update - Vala has responded on discord and says that designers will be paid and that orders are still being fulfilled. Would still exercise caution and not order from vala without a way to chargeback but If they actually follow up on what they say than it's a good sign that they are gonna keep afloat.

Vala’s been shipping in stock stuff till recently -I got something 3 weeks ago - and they haven’t paid designers at least some of what they were due for years now. Id make sure to use a credit card where they’d have your back about not shipping, absolutely, but I don’t know this is actually a significant change from who they always were.

I haven't been aware of vala for a while, so maybe that is the case. I still think it is important to make people aware somewhat, cause this is a pretty big red flag for me, especially when ordering stuff.
Also yes it's good practice to use a credit card, absolutely.
