I'm going to copypaste my thoughts from the BlackSimon video that covered the overview of the project:

--- Quote ---So this is coming from the perspective of someone who joined the hobby back in early 2023.

I think that the kyuubi kit would be a worthwhile venture for a beginner if it were able to compete with the Neo series by being either a 75 with numpad and choice of switches, or to folks with a bit of experience to try out a tented alice with numpad and their choice of switches. I think the Alice could easily stand by itself as a product with switches and palm rest to accompany it based on projected price from the Geekhack post. I think the 75 would be a harder sell even if it were to be bundled with switches.

I would suggest offering 50% more switches than the number required to fill the boards that were ordered, so in the realm of 150 switches if you were to get a board + numpad. I think 250 or 300 would be enough to cover both boards and the numpad if someone were to purchase the master bundle.
--- End quote ---

My main concern would probably be with breaking down costs further and offering parted out versions of the master bundle.
