What is it:
Modifier set in Cherry profile with the classic color scheme Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Additional Purple winkeys included, as well as some fancy fn's.
Shipping info:
I will be shipping orders, in order placed, as soon as GMK delivers the order. They are coming prepackaged from GMK to expedite shipping.
GB Deadline:
Group buy will close on April 20th at 4:20 PM EST
Pricing:
Set price is $44.
Shipping is calculated in real-time by easypost. Once we see how orders are looking, we will discuss additional price breaks in here. Options will range from lower costs to additional keys.
Additionally, stripe is being used for the GB due to past PayPal hurdles. Stripe is a safe and trusted method of payment. I am happy to field questions about it, and will answer as best as I can.
Support:
If you have any issues with the site, or throughout the GB, there is a support link on the site that everyone is free to use. It will open support tickets for easier tracking. Please submit issues there, as well as in the thread. That way other people know of issues that you may have, and can chime in if they have the same. I am going to do my best to make this GB as painless as possible. :thumb:

If were to order one set now and later decide I want to get two would I be able to modify my order?I don't see an issue with that. I would have to talk to Cody about combining orders. If you or anyone decides to, submit a support request so we can track it and correct the shipping charges.
Is Stripe really the only alternative to evade PayPal's heavy restrictions? Couldn't you issue invoices for services rendered?I think that is possible, but I don't want to be in a similar situation as RGBYK.

"K" just means the legend color (black). For CMYW, the "W" would mean white.

The fee and donations are added by us. The fees cover fees charged by stripe and estimated taxes. The donations should be optional, but I will check with Cody to be sure.

From reading the IC thread it seems like the price ONLY covers the caps. I'm cool with the mandatory donation because the trend of gb organizers losing money needs to die.
Yeah but on principle, donations should never be mandatory. It should be tacked on in fees if anything. Donations are supposed to be voluntary.

After all the discussion on GB's this week, I see no reason why keycaps w/ GMK should be run as GB format instead of through MD.
I get that certain things like TGR-Jane, or the upcoming Mira, cannot be run on MD. However, on keyset buys with large MOQ's, MD is the perfect format, not to mention much better buyer protection. Just look at Sparkleloft keys... the R2 is on MD, and looks like it will happen very smoothly.

Did you get a receipt in your email? I wouldn't worry too much about having the order not show up in your history as long as you have a receipt.

Your order is in our system, so don't worry. Cody has been pretty sick and hasn't been able to do much with backend support on the site lately though. I'll be sure to bring the issue back up with him though, and hopefully you will have the order linked soon.

Using stripe is just like buying anything online. The difference with PayPal, is that you use your bank to file a dispute. From there the process is similar, where proof of your claim must be submitted, as well information from myself.

I am not into colors mods, but these keys are awesome, they can make pretty much any set to fit most keyboards, either TKL, ANSI, 1800 and so on.

According to the screen, it looked like the card number should be entered like this: "**** **** **** ****".
At first, I was entirely misled about this, but, in a while, I realized all numbers should be entered with NO space like this: "****************".
I hope my experience will be helpful and also a bulk order from a Chinese member will be more than 100. ;)

Quick update for everyone.
A Chinese member organised this for the members over there. I am waiting on confirmation of their order before moving forward. I have spoken with GMK and they are all set to accept payment. Once I get this last order and know the final MOQ, I'll let everyone know.

What a pleasant, unexpected surprise! I think 1.25 FN keys would be pretty cool because the base set doesn't have one, but I am happy with anything because it is an added bonus! I sort of like the AE colour in combo with the CMYK. http://i.imgur.com/rMhlf.jpg

No extra keys are being added. The mockup in the op is what will be produced. Had the Chinese order been placed, I would have been able to add more keys. All I can say is that it would cost me almost the same money to join this GB or the Chinese GB.
There is no reason to care about the "other" GB, this one rocks, it is handled by a trustworthy leader and the design is one of the best fits for a Beige OG set, there is nothing more we may need.
In the beginning I thought there was only one GB.
However, there must be something happened between our leader and the Chinese leader, and then the Chinese leader decided to place orders directly to GMK by themselves.
So now there were two GBs

Why does it matter whose GB was 'bigger'?
If our GB is as big as the Chinese one, we should also have extra keys.
That's the point I am talking about.
Since now we know the Chinese GB's orders met the 250 MOQ while we didn't. And that's why we don't have extra keys.
I am not blaming anyone.
I am just curious. ;D ;D
The moq is 150 now, not 250. We could have had those two additional keys from the start, but then the price would be higher as evidenced by their GB. Had we met 250, I was going to add additional keys to may it up for the price reduction and keep the same price.

In the beginning I thought there was only one GB.
However, there must be something happened between our leader and the Chinese leader, and then the Chinese leader decided to place orders directly to GMK by themselves.
So now there were two GBs
I'm not going to continue this any further. I'm not sure what stake you have in any of this, since you didn't join the group buy. I hope you got the info you needed.
I did join, but not with my ID.
I am not questioning you. I just compared these two GBs and stated my thought.

No worries. In regards to your question, and in a more serious comment, I think the set was defined since the beginning and the possibility to have extras was just that, a possibility, that was conditional upon the demand reaching a higher than MoQ, that was 250 I think, so that is not happening, so asking about an already covered and well understood "issue" just does not make sense. If at the time the GB and the Chinese people forking their own one, you want to get there, you can always either ask for a refund or sell your spot if you prefer to go with the other. Bottom line, we should decide where our money goes based on facts and not on possibilities. It is good to have more keys? of course, but it was not a promise, just a possibility contingent on demand, but the set, as defined, as we pay for it, it's perfectly fine.

A well crafted design always have collateral benefits :thumb:
In my case, I need it to go with my upcoming NCR PC4 OG Cherry set with hat type keys in black on beige, there is no better combination to go with the new 62. You'll see it will rock.

The set was shipped out on 8/3, but the tracking has been in limbo since the 7th. GMK is looking into it and is supposed to update me once they know more as to the status. I'll let everyone know more when I have the info. As of now, tracking shows it leaving Germany.

Sure, you can argue that it's premature. Although, it doesn't hurt to know where they stand in terms of liability when it comes to lost packages. As they aren't aware of the current status of the package, perhaps they might of said something along the lines of, "if it's lost, we got you covered" to Ghost.

It's not like they can be any color, though. They're just off color codes by GMK and I'm sure potato shots don't accurately display the colors.

Hi Ghost,Can you take a picture of it for me, and submit a request on the site so I can track it. Gmk said they do have extra caps in case there are issues. So if it's widespread I'll have to contact them.
Got my keys and they look great! One of my right shift keys does have a mark right on the top in the middle of the key. It's not on the surface so I can't remove it without scraping layers off the key. Do you have any replacements available?
I submitted a request on the site a few hours ago. Was hard to get good pics, sorry about that.

Checking the recent group buys pricing you pay the same for a GMK set than for an SP one at the same layout; worst, you pay more to SP per gram of plastic than to GMK. There is not really a premium, unless you get the sets that some profited with a bit more than usual, like the recent oranges that all of us know about. Regarding consistency, the recent beige sets made matches perfectly with old OGs, I think the small Pantone difference is on these new colors.
I think that is less to do with GMK getting cheaper and more to do with rising prices at SP

There are 4 yellow keys in the following pic.

2 Shift keys are from CMYW and CMYK, and 2 Win keys are from RGBYW and RGBYK.
These Win keys were manufactured before the new colors have come out from GMK.
I felt nothing different between yellow keys with the same legend color.
But I realized the same difference between yellow keys with the different legend color.
I've heard that a dark color such as black might have an influence on a bright color such as yellow during double-shot processes.
I think there may be a clue to cause the difference.

Finally got my caps as well. What a rollercoaster ride for me, can't blame anyone though. USPS tracking has been telling me for almost 2 weeks the caps are waiting at the customs office for pickup but I got no notification and they couldn't find anything when I called and begged them to look.
Then suddenly out of nowhere after _TWO WEEKS_ the package was marked "delivered" and I got the notification. Guess it took that long from Frankfurt Airport Import to my local customs office (25km drive)
Put them on my [insert amazing keyboard] and they look great with [insert keycap set people would trade their last kidney for]!
I guess that puts the "snail" back in "snail mail"? How much would a snail salary be if employed by Deutsche Post?

Im gonna shoot GMK an email and see what they say. They shipped them untracked so I have no idea how long it would have taken, but feel like they should have arrived by now...
Contacting them is good, though, untracked shipping from Europe tends to take a long time, at least, in my experience.
I got my replacement caps from GMK directly for another set and it took about 1-1.5 weeks.
See what they have to say when they get back to me.
