I'm very much undecided still. Possibly Cherry MX Clears. Usually I test-mount a bunch of switches, add keycaps, and do some test typing to approximate how the end result with feel with a particular case/plate combo.

I might do something similar with my spare pcb and plate, I couldn't hold back on the royals haha.

Oh and one more thing, I know we've discussed using QMK over bootmapper, but unfortunately we've not been able to get a QMK version of the PCB done. We'll stick with bootmapper for now.

QMK supports bootmapper boards. If you're able to get me a switch matrix or schematics for it, I'll be able to get QMK Configurator working with this board.

Yes you heard that right, QMK works on bootmapper boards. Caveat is that depending on the number of QMK features you're using, you may not be able to simultaneously run both underglow and in switch lighting.

Update:

So the manu got back to us with a defect, pics first.

An explanation:

These burns were spotted while anodizing, and according to the manufacturer it is a consequence of a slightly thinner bottom part than expected. All these marks will not be visible once the brass weight is dropped in, and all other parts are in tip top condition.
We're sorry about this defect but given the small amount of units and the complexity of reworking (which may cause more problems to other parts) we've decided to proceed, once again I would like to reiterate that these are not visible once you've assembled, and all other surfaces are pretty much good to go.

We're also looking to receive the PCBs within the next 2 weeks, no ETA on the kits yet. I will post more updates once I receive them.

I don't personally know the guy, or talk to him. PCBs are from China.

Update for all buyers:

I've received and tested all the PCBs, I have 13 that are faulty but I've contacted a local guy who will fix them (some SMD leds not firing) so we should be good to go soon on that front.

I've just paid for shipping for the boards from China to Singapore, once I receive/QC them you will receive your shipping invoices within the next 2 weeks.
