I busted out Rock Band with 3 other friends and we smoked all day while playing and singing and remenising about our 10 year younger selves.

Finished out a VERY long and stressful week at work. Afterwards, I went out on a first date with a girl who seems to appreciate my odd hobbies. We went to a little speakeasy type place and I drank cocktails WAY too fancy for my usual self. Alas, there was no weed involved, but I had really great 4/20 all the same.

I also love the idea of potentially having 420 as an anniversary should this continue to work out.

I remember back in the early ninties driving to San Fransisco for 4-20. We were so excited. Something we had never done before. We got to golden gate park and parking was a *****. We thought we found a so called parking spot. Finally made it to the festival. Now remember back in the early ninties it was a hush hush thing. At least in the city. We were at this small building in the park. They had this little parking lot in the back of the building that was gated in and there were about 300 people in this huge circle all passing and smoking. It was a special experience that i will never forget. Then after all that my car had been towed. Paked in McDonald's parking lot like a tool. Luckily one of the people i was with knew people in the city. A few hundred dollars later we were headed home.

Best 4/20 ever was in Vancouver while in grad school for a conference. First time buying herb from a store and went way overboard with budder and green and edibles. Girlfriend and I went on sunset cruise, puffed on the deck and then stared at currents the boat was making for an hour!

I celebrated by going to a housewarming party for some friends where we made tacos and drank a bottle of Makers. I watched them smoke as I don't smoke. Then we hit golf balls into the woods behind their house without breaking windows or anything!

I ate one too many edibles and walked around the streets of Breckenridge Colorado playing in the snow. That was last year, though. This year was just spent at a bar getting asked by my parent's friends how life after college is. Not nearly as much fun.

Don't smoke anymore, but when I was younger my cousin Kozahtli (Koatl of GH) and I went to a Carls Jr. at 3am with my older brother's best friend. This ****ing guy had a really great raspy, deep voice imitation of Louis Armstrong that he would use from time to time, and decided to order in that voice a "medium cheesecake". He had to settle for a regular slice of cheesecake that night, which of course was the only size they had.

We then drove home to make some buttermilk pancakes with reese's peanut butter and chocolate chips, by adding butter and milk to pre-made buttermilk pancakes flour. It was the fattest night of my life, and one of the many outings to any fast food establishment I will never forget.

As for the story:

My friends and I went about our usual friday night business (blunt friday, as always) and then stopped by the Steak and Shake drive thru for some burgers. On our way home (passed Taco Bell) someone mentioned that some cinnabon delights would be great so we stopped off and in our baked haze forgot that we had full orders of Steak and Shake ready to go. This lead to us arriving back at my house and realizing we all had some burgers, tacos, burritos, milkshakes, and about 84 cinnabon delights between the 4 of us. All the food was finished in the end but none of us could move for about an hour as our bodies dealt with the bad decisions we had made that night.

I didn't really "celebrate" but I tried to ditch work, had to go into the office and put out some fires, came home and gamed with friends, hung out with my girl, went to a big dinner with a few people.

Years ago on 4/20 some friends and smoked an ounce in every way we know how. Smoked out of apples, joints, blunts, bongs, pipes and played video games and watched movies

I spent the day going to class and wasting my time trying to set up this little network in the lab (**** you STP) and then going home and messing around with it some more Packet Tracer, probably would have been better if I got high. Also checked my phone constantly for sales/giveaways... could have been better, could have been worse.

As for a memory about being high, since I didn't really celebrate this year, my favorite 4/20 was back in 2003 when it fell on Easter. We sort of forgot Easter was a religious holiday and got high as **** at the beach before sunrise. We saw some lights in the distance and decided to go check them out - so we walked a couple miles down the beach and ended up walking through like three of four religious services (around sunrise). Didn't want to walk back through them, so we cut through this rich neighborhood to get back to a main road - ended up getting harrased by private security a couple  times before making it out of the neighborhood. Just ended up being a pretty good day.

This 420 I woke up first thing I did was gobble a back black cherry flavored lego gummy, made some breakfast n got all excited to enter the 4/20 raffles, made some dabs from the heaps of leftovers I had, went to the gym(of course :lul:) and spent the majority of the day just chillin while consuming more legos, b rips an food while entering raffles n having a good laugh with my lady, I think we were binge watching Brookyln 99...Annnnn I think I received more happy 420's on 4/20 than happy birthdays on my bday :lmao:

This year was the first year since before adulthood  when I didn’t celebrate 4/20 because I’m suffering from a severe and crippling gout attack and am pretty much stuck on the main level until I can get into a specialist or go to the ER if the wait is too long.

So my best memory of being high was the first time I ever got high. I was hanging out with my best friend and I had just brought some edibles home from a visit to Colorado, and I took them to his house. We took half of a taffy (I brought one for each of us) and waited an hour and a half; neither of us felt anything. Okay, we take more. Another quarter, don't wanna overdo it! Wait another hour, feel nothing still. Okay **** it, we decided to just eat the rest of it and see if maybe we could feel anything after it all!

Oh boy. After another half hour, it all smashed into us. An entire taffy each, and we were destroyed. We walked around a bit more but realized we needed to sit down. We went back to his house to play games and we ended up sitting on our computers, not talking at all. I was giggling out of my mind; my friend was absolutely silent. Then the worst case scenario happens: his dad knocks on the door. He came into the room and started talking to us, I couldn't stop smiling, talking, and giggling, while my friend couldn't speak! It was a hilarious time, and I miss it a bunch!

Thanks for reminding me of these times, I gotta smoke with my friends some more if I can! I hope you enjoy the ridiculous story, as I'm sure all of these will be good! Thanks for this giveaway too <3

So I don't enjoy smoking. It's just not for me. I don't care if other people do it, but I've just always had bad experiences when I tried.

I think my worst experience was one night back in college when I took a hit from a bong when we were getting ready to go to the bars. I was sitting down at the time and stood up about 5-10 minutes later. I immediately started to feel like I was going to pass out so I ran to my room and sat on my bed. This is where the fun began. From there I sat on the edge of my bed slowly rocking in circles thinking I was going to die for what felt like 6 hours. My amazing roommate would come in every few minutes to check on me and stayed in for the night to keep me company. But to a degree this made things worse for me.

In my mind I felt like everytime  he came in I had already lived that moment and we had already had the exact same conversation. It felt like my personal Ground Hogs Day movie.  He would come in, he would be say

Roommate: "how are you feeling?" ,
Me: "i feel like im going to die"
Roommate: "you're not going to die this is normal don't worry it's going to be okay".
Me: "no, i knew you were going to say that. We've already had this conversation over and over and I know exactly what you're going to say because you've already said it before"
Rommate: "no dude, this is literally the first time we've had this conversation, I havn't said this to you before. I am literally saying this for the first time. This is just something that happens"
Me: "nope, see I know you were going to say that **** about it being the first time, but we've definitely had this conversation before and i know youre going to say we didnt, but we did!"

And then that just kept going on and on like that everytime he walked in. Literally got into my own head and stuck myself into a time loop feeling like I was going to die. Ah good times...

My 420, which is a Friday, was my usual work Friday... it's super boring and tedious right until lunch as I have made an appointment to meet up with a fellow colleague for lunch. You see, my boss wanted me to talk to this colleague because she's having some challenges to deliver her work and boss wanted to know what was up. I didn't really want to do this assignment, hey, he's the boss, I am not, so why ask me to talk to a fellow employee? So, I took her to a nice lunch and start to have small talk. Then I breached the conversation.

"Um, how are things at work?", I said.

"It's fine.. why did you ask", she questioned.

"No, just curious about you, you know. I observed that you have been pretty stressed up at work."

"Really? Did boss ask you to talk to me?"

"Wh-wh-what.. what do you me-mean?", I stammered, caught with my pants down. Inside my head, I was like what-the-****? How did she know?

"He told me he asked you to talk to me!", she confronted me... sharp laser eye burning my retina. My balls, shrunk!

"I.. I...... why did he do that?!", I deflected the ball back to boss. "That's so dumb and if he has spoken to you, he should have warned me not to ask! This is awkward!"

Then I laughed.. and she laughed!!!

What the hell! Later she told me she spoke to boss yesterday night and they settled the conversation already...

Much later, on 420 evening, I bumped into boss in the hallway and he said we have to talk. And I confronted him on why he didn't informed me that he talked to the colleague. Then, in all seriousness, he said, let's go for coffee. We went into the lift and it stopped in one floor and in came a Korean girl whom my boss had a crush on. And our coffee session became talk about this Korean girl and his other girlfriends whom he has dated before he got married. OMG! Kill me!!!!

I spent the majority of the day entering 420 raffles and doing homework. Finished off the day having dinner with my wife and then  going to see super troopers two! It was a great day.

I remember one not so glorious 4/20 where me and my friend decided to drive up to Canada to visit some other friends for a break. We left on 4/20 hoping to get there by evening. We brought with us a bunch of weed to consume on the way up, a hookah (that was never used for weed) and tobacco, and clothes. The whole way up to the border we hot boxed my friend's car and were high as balls. This is back when smartphones hadn't come out yet and we were still printing out mapquest directions.

As we started to get closer and I looked at the map, I told my friend "I think we're getting close dude we should unroll the windows and air this **** out" to which he replied "Nah man, we've got at least another 30 minutes". I looked at it again and told him I'm pretty sure we're close, and as I did, we rounded the bend and the border was 500 feet away. We quickly opened the windows and all the smoke came out like we were cheech 'n chong coming up to the border and in my head all I could think was "You motherf-, I told you to open them earlier".

We pull up to the border and the Border Patrol agent leans in and says "How you boys doin? Where you headed?" My friend hands our passports over and says "We're off to visit our friends in Ottawa". As we're saying this the lady smells the air and gives us a look of "You dun ****ed up" and says "How bout you go park over there and we'll be with you shortly". I **** my pants (figuratively...for now) and we go park and get out of the car to wait inside. Another agent comes in and asks us do we have any illicit drugs or tobacco with us to which we reply no (mistake). They come back maybe 10 minutes later and they find my friends grinder, his stash box (which was a now empty mint tin) and apparently 4 marijuana seeds in the car. The agent then triumphantly says "We also found THIS" and pulls out our hookah and asks "So what do you boys use this for?". We politely tell him it's a traditional thing for us and that we only use it for tobacco. He looks annoyed with us and says "Uh huh, so if we test it we won't find anything else?"..."Nope not at all".

At this point my friend is becoming pretty damn cocky thinking we've gotten away with it and leans over to me and says "Don't worry, they don't got **** on us, we'll be fine". As soon as he finishes that sentence another officer comes and grabs him and shows him the mint box and says "So what did you use this for?". My friend smugly (wayyy too smugly) replies "Mints. duh." which pisses off the officer a ****load who then takes him away for separate questioning.

The first officer comes back and looks at me (high as a ****ing space kite) and starts asking me where we're going, who we're staying with, for how long and I just start freaking out. I hand her my phone (again remember this was dumb phone days so nothing super valuable on there) and tell her the name of my friend so she can check it in the address book and just stop psychoanalyzing me. She takes my phone and writes down my friends name number and address to verify and walks off.

Now I'm left sitting with my thoughts, and they're all bad. All I can think to myself is "I'm ****ed...I'm absolutely ****ed...Stupid ****ing friend should have listened to me and aired the car out sooner and none of this would have happened. I'm going to go to jail, my parents are going to disown me and I'm going to get manhandled by some grizzly monster". They bring my friend back and he has this suuuuuper somber look on his face and all I can think is "****, we're screwed". He looks to me and says "So, they want to do a cavity search..."

My heart jumps with glee! I'm over the moon!! I know I have nothing up my butt so I'll be fine! "Sure, no problem officer, let's get this over with." As I get up the officer looks at me and says "We'll come get you shortly for it" We sit there both waiting and then it dawns on me..."They're going to stick their hand up my ass...this is not going to be comfortable..." and I go back to worrying.

About 20 minutes later they finally come back and say "Alright boys, you're free to go" annoyedly. I look up and the sun comes shining down on me, it's as if I'd won the lottery, slept with every actress/model I'd ever hoped/dreamed of, and also got out of jail. We quickly pack our stuff into my friend's car and dash off...6 hours after we'd gotten to the border. As we're leaving my friend starts celebrating "Hell yeah! I knew they couldn't do **** to us!" I turn over to him and punch him as hard as I physically can in the arm, "MOTHER****ER NEXT TIME I TELL YOU TO OPEN THE GODDAMN WINDOWS YOU LISTEN TO ME!!!"
