the link is the google translated version. Even after translating the page, some words still seems weird.

thanks... it's not as extensive as i thought. there are a few gems in the robotic translation:

I hope I can give some more information on Cherry switches soon. I did ask Cherry for datasheets and whatnot, so I'll see what I can get. In parallel, I did some measurements, but measuring and getting results take massive amounts of time if you're quite occupied with all kinds of other things as well ... initial measurements have been done over a month ago and I'm still trying to find the time to actually enter loads of data of some different measurements carried out about two months ago.
I don't think it should be very revealing. Cherry switches are quite simple, actually, but there are some subtleties I'd like to investigate. Yet, no time for great endeavors, so a couple of hours per week have to suffice, slowing everything down by incredible amounts. Next week, my G80-11800 should arrive, which should give me brown and the other grey switches to dissemble and fuss around with. Oh my, this is almost poised to be great fun indeed.

edit: So far, I can confirm springs used in MX greens are identical to those in MX blacks, unless of course Cherry is playing some bizarre joke on me.

i've been cleaning a set of white Alps with dampers for an AEK II conversion, hence my interest in switch guts :)

i miss Chloe. probably abducted by rogue mechanical engineers to do secret missions on monster island... :-/
