We are estimating the units at 50 for now because we are still learning the process and want to ensure we don't sacrifice quality for quantity.
However, if everything goes well and there is a large amount of interest, we might increase the units.

We are currently planning to sell direct, but if EU demand is high we will consider it.

My main request is that if you do decide to support ISO, you also consider including the option to swap the split right shift with the 1U Function key to its right (so the 1U is on the left and the 1.75U right shift is at the very right of the keyboard). This minor change, in combination with the ISO Enter key, will allow you to support JIS as well as ISO.

It's only useful if you decide to support ISO though, so if you decide to keep things ANSI-only you can ignore this request :-)

Yeah definitely, thanks for that advice. We will have a google form up shortly with some questions so we can gauge interest about certain options. If ISO turns out to be popular we'll add it in with your idea.

Slanting them? I'm not sure I follow the idea but I will try later to see if I can see it.

Yeah we liked the idea of using bronze as both the weight and the plate, we felt it fit along with the concept we wanted. As for the colors, we'll announce what colors were the winners.

usually I would always ask for ISO support. But I feel like if this limited to 50 units, while being well made and reasonably priced you wont have issues to sell them in the current market. (the current design looks really nice imo)

Hotswap will not be offered with the PCB during group buy but the PCB is a standard 60% so if you can find a Tsangan hotswap PCB with a JST connector then it should work. We will see if we can test this at some point.

It should have some heft to it. But it is a 60% so the weight of the board shouldn't be outrageous.

I'm not the biggest fan of this layout for this PCB, mostly just because it usually requires an additional 'modifiers' AND spacebar kit to be purchased in addition to the Base kit when buying keycaps.
But this looks pretty enough that if I got one I would not mind pony-ing up for the extra bits.

The PCB has multiple layouts, we’re fans of Tsangan so we selected that as our plate layout. From what I know most base kits come with the required keycaps for the layout.

Ahh yeah we just finalized the color selection, we did have to make some modifications but we do like the colors we are going with.

The Charcoal and Teal colors are going to be applied through anodization. The E-White is applied by electrophoresis I believe.

We tried our best to strike a balance between what our design goals were and pricing, manufacturing etc. We tweaked it to keep it as close to the original design.

I’m so confused, this is the beautiful polished look - is this going to be the final look of the metal?

That is correct this is the final look we are going for, I apologize if it was not clear what we were aiming for. The brass pieces will be sandblasted since we really like how that looks but we definitely wanted to keep the rest of the bottom reflective. So yup that finishing on the prototype is what we are aiming for. :thumb:

Hey there. We’re waiting for our second prototype with some of the QoL edits we did. We should have that soon and after that we can figure out our GB date. If you have questions don’t hesitate to reach out, either here or much easier on discord.

The mirror finish on the base with the maze engraved into the brass weight is my favorite thing... Wow, it honestly looks amazing. The 'logo' is just awesome great job to the designer of it.

A quick update also folks. We are switching manufacturer and ordered a new prototype. There are some changes with some more QOL changes. We’ll be ordering a second prototype from them soon. I’ll post a more complete update soon with some pictures.

Out of all the boards in IC or out currently, this board is *by far* my absolute favorite. The design of the bottom just looks so good. The aesthetic really is unrivaled. I cannot wait to get a chance at this board.
