there is two stepped caps lock keys, on i the modifiers kit and one in Tsangan. Are both left stemmed or is one center stemmed stepped?

Yes, the mods have a center stemmed, the Tsangan has an off center.

Here's some red anodized aluminum like you might find on a Vortex or Korean custom:

(Attachment Link)

I think the real thing will look better with red and blue than this even... the blue is a bit off probably. But still, I'm a fan of red and blue together.  More aluminum renders coming soon! :)
how automated is this renderer? would love to plug this into the other gh and community-developed software we have..

You'll need to contact kaporkle.  Up until I asked him to, he hadn't done a Filco-like frame or DCS profile keys.  It took a lot of time for him to get to this point, but I suspect it's fairly easy for him to render out different colors for future group buys assuming no additional modeling is required.  (or much anyway)  It takes him time, so I wouldn't ask him to do it for free though... but as I mentioned in the OP, his rates are very reasonable now that the hard part is over.  One of the hopes I had in contracting him was that more organizers would do the same.  I think a lot of great group buys get looked over due to hard-to-imagine descriptions and mockups.  (I know I passed on the original CCnG and wouldn't have with mockups like these!)

A little question here,

do you have optional spacebar to order ?
Let say 6.25x / 7x and  stems option.

Yes, the mods have a center stemmed, the Tsangan has an off center.
So SP can do center stemmed stepped caps lock in DCS now? Finally!

I think he meant extra spacebars only. Since those are usually the first to get shiny. :)

For a UK layout TKL Filco or QFR do I just need alphas, mods and ISO? Thanks!

That is correct.  You don't need any tsangan kits for a Filco/QFR.  You can pick which mods set you want (white or blue) or you can get both if you want to mix and match.  You need the ISO kit and obviously you need the alphas.

I forget who does these amazing renders, but if she/he is looking to make a bit of keyboard money from doing them for people (which is awesome and totally legit), then I wouldn't be surprised if he came up with a full-size model, a 1.5x model, etc.

And he has very reasonable rates.  I'd post them, but I don't want to be presumptuous. :)

Maybe add a kit of F1-F4, F9-F12, "~`", and "\|". It would already be cheap since those keys are included in the white modifier set and would not get their own tier.

I really like that idea! I'd like it even more if you add a white space bar to that extra set :)

I would totally join that group buy if you offer this extra set.

There are so many awesome group buys right now (CCnG, Klaxon, Toxic) that I simply can't afford to buy two modifier sets just to get those 10 keys I want. I hope you reconsider and add an extra set for all the people that like the "normal" color scheme :)

i'd consider "normal" color scheme to be the flat color all white or all blue.
dunno why people consider alternate colors to be "normal"

Yeah, it's interesting how trends start and persist. I find the alternating colors on the F row strange. Other than the nostalgia of the 80s ad 90s, seems like a pure color scheme should be dominant. Maybe different mod color, but even then... Seems like it's only normal because its normal.

Well, it somehow got the norm (at least for me) because all group buys of the last months have this alternating color scheme on the F-Row.

But no matter what, OP decides what the set looks like and that's totally fine. I am just saying I'll probably pass this one :)

It's part of the master plan. Then they will come to GH to request OTD and other South Korean caps. Next they'll be like, GH is a cool place, then spread their kustoms knowledge to us. And then we'll have rainbows and unicorns and the hottest boards ever :D

If you're international you kind of have to buy two of everything... the postage prices seem insane just for one set. But then when you buy two of everything.. the total price becomes insane. It's a lose lose!!
