Modern 60% keyboards with arrow keys?
« on: Fri, 02 November 2012, 07:41:50 »
I'm looking for a small 60% keyboard with arrow keys. I play a lot of games that require arrow keys so for me they're pretty much a necessity. The Vortex RACE looks pretty good but I'd be nice to see some other keyboards like it.

All 60% boards have arrow keys, just on different layer.

Awesome! Thanks. Then I guess I'm pretty set on buying the Vortex POKER.

You know he was showing you the layout of the PURE, not the Poker, right?

And of course if you want complete control you could go with a custom 60%... the GH60 is being prototyped :)  you know you'll want it anyhow.

Yes, I do. I just assumed the same applied for the POKER.

Same idea, different layout.  Some people hate one, some the other.

The Pure has 2 Fn layer arrow key options, while the Poker only has 1 (R.Shift, Win,Menu, R.Ctrl).  My ideal layout would pretty much be the KMAC Mini, but those are hard to come by.

The Vortex Race you mention is a 75% board, not a 60%. Other boards that size are the Noppoo Choc Mini and Keycool 84.

Can you lock the arrow cluster on the pure like you can the poker?

The japanese layout Happy Hacking Keyboard has dedicated arrow keys, and I think it qualifies as a true 60% board

Keyboards:
Filco 104 MX Brown (Otaku) - FKBN104M/NPEK 黒い空
Ducky TKL MX Brown/Blue 80% (White) - 1087-F 白の空
KBC Poker MX Red with PBT Key Caps - PFCN6000
