I think this newer member to my keyboard hoard family would make for really cute and easy pixel art~

Just FYI to those interested  in IBM and co art, I've hosted all the ones I've made on my website so they can be found in one place:
https://sharktastica.co.uk/kb_icons

I'll continue to post new ones here, though.

If anyone could do one of my Sirius I would be highly appreciative. How do you guys make these pixel art things anyways? I'd love to figure it out so I can make my own & ones for others.

Your wish is my command. I couldn't tell if there was supposed to be a 'beige' tint on all the colours from your photo or if your lighting was just of a warm hue, so I produced two versions; one with warmer colours sampled straight from your photo and with cooler colours (with truer blacks, greys and whites). Enjoy!

For making the art itself, literally Microsoft Paint. They only time I need something else is when I need to make the background transparent for keyboards with smooth corners or need to do some work to the reference image(s), in which case, I use Photoshop (although GIMP could do the same for free). Some other useful details:
  • I start by making the layout first, then I scale a reference photo down to match the layout's size to figure out how big the casing and any notable details should be relative to the keycaps. Because reference photos are not always straight in terms of perspective, I usually have to do some perspective warp to straighten the photo up (which I had to do in your case)
  • When it comes to defining corners (or drops in depth), use a second colour on the inner parts of the curves to hightlight the change. Usually, using the case's primary colour albeit a little darker works well. If you zoom in on the art I did for you, observe how I used a slightly darker colour on the inside of each corner of the case.

I was really inspired by this thread and wanted to give it a go. I made my Drop CTRL High Profile with XDA Canvas. Even added in the RGB backlight.
First time I have ever done something like this, but I actually enjoyed it immensely. :D

I realize it's a bit bigger than the others I see in this thread.

Thanks for these!

My autism couldn't help but notice that the last 2 rows of the HHKBs wear slightly off, so here I fixed them:

And while at it, here versions of the slightly different HHKB Classic with roundish corners and no label on the bottom right:

I've googled and scrolled as much as I can take. Has anyone made a Corne? Specifically the Boardsource "Corne LP"
Not my pic:
2 Corne, a Preonic, a Trailmix, and an older Rosewill
One big pile of MBK colored blanks; if I had red I'd recreate:

That'd be awesome! I've waited this long; it's not too big a bother. I might fashion up my own since a corne was recently included on a pixel art deskmat. The pic I posted is actually the rarely seen true choc-spaced variant, so you'd be working with material only a few of us actually have. There are plenty of pics of cornes though.

Your wish is my command. I tried my best with this one, but it was too difficult to get every line right and the cable was out of the question for my abilities. Hopefully, it's good enough.

Most of your wish is my command. I may need some more time on the FLX Virgo.

As for everyone else, I will not be accepting any more requests at this time since I'm unable to commit to doing more (especially after how long it took to get to these ones).

If anyone else is taking requests, I'd be grateful if someone would be able to create a Full Size GMMK 1 with SA Camping keycaps. I have included the visuals for both below. Please feel free to omit the RGB underglow as I do not use that. Thank you in advance.

Here you go, I'm just starting out with pixel art so hopefully you like this.
