Well, I just got a Deathadder 2013 today. And, as soon as I picked it up, I couldn't help but notice the sides were a bit different than the previous versions of the Deathadder.
Yes, I knew before purchasing it that it had rubber side-grips, but aside from the rubber itself, it seems like they actually changed the shape of the mouse in the areas where the rubber resides? Especially where the thumb is supposed to rest... It feels as if it's kind of caved in, just a tiny bit, allowing you to have a slightly more narrow grip on the mouse (just at the sides). It's very reminiscent of the Mamba.
This is in contrast with the previous Deathadders, where the sides would just be flat, and go straight down.
So, is it just me, or did you guys observe the same thing?
