I think it does, just a bit of interior case modding?
I'm still wondering, plates for my 1813 and 3700 or not.

looks good, I like those RU/DE keys. Your flash is so strange it makes it look like it almost has a plate in that picture

how come the Red/Blue down on the bottom? you swipe those keys already for a different board?

I join with a glorious potato picture until I get my cases painted and pull out the DSLR:

Before I knew anything about anything keyboards I purchased a G81 trying to get some decent Cherry double shots. While I did succeed in getting some caps they were pretty crappy. Fast forward almost a year and I'm throwing crap away and realize I have an 1800 compatible case! Once my Montana Gold paints arrive I'll do something fun with them. I might plastidip one gunmetal grey in the mean time  :p

Yes, it is. And yes, he did. Speaking of, flynn, which did you get? I know it was ISO, but was it the one with NKRO and Doubleshots? Or...?

yea its the ISO K1, which is really just a g80-1856. Yes it is double shot and its USB, so 6KRO

Are all USB 1800s 6KRO? If so, could I swap to a USB controller and add diodes to get over the 2KRO limitation?

I was talking to lysol about that. He's uncertain whether the controller may support more than 2KRO or not with the addition of diodes. We both want to try it out. But I don't have diodes...
I have a ton of diodes, need some?

Alrighty. Let me know. The diodes are almost cheaper than a postage stamp, but you can have as many as you need for an 1800. I can send some over to ya. :)

Will do. But if anyone wants to trade, let me know, I really want to keep it since I've been looking for it for a long time.

its basically impossible to find the ANSI K1 anymore. If you already have the ISO one and don't like the layout, then just cheat and put an 1863/5/7 into the K1 case like this

I'm also not sure on all the tricks of what controller swaps will or won't work to get > 2KRO. From what i've tried to read on KBD, it seems that they have managed to replace the controller with one from another Cherry board and add diodes successfully though

Yes taking one all apart and installing diodes is something I have been meaning to try for awhile. Maybe this weekend I will try it out on sacrificial 3000. I only have 'rare' 1800 now and would be pissed if something went horribly wrong and it was ruined. We know the switch PCB is cake, just swapping jumper for diodes basically. It is all up to the controller. There was replacement controller made by member on DT that looks really promising but they have not as of yet made a groupbuy for it.

That looks great. How much does the 1863+ series costs? I have one iso Raptor K1 coming as well.

inside the US you can get a G80-1865LXNEU-2 for $125 shipped. that is assuming you want browns and will just throw away the lasered keys

from taobao you can get all other switch types in an 1865, but after shipping will run you closer to $200shipped to the US
You can also get 1867's from korea for about $200 shipped to the US. so those would be english+Hangul lasered caps.

if you're in Malaysia, i'd try the taobao or korean route to get an 1865/1867 ansi layout board

My Raptor K1 Gaming. : ) I'm not sure why, but I REALLY love how this black switch feels compare to my Ducky, if it was ANSI, it would be PERFECT. I need some time to get used to this, really hope I wouldn't have to sell it away.

Check taobao. There is often some decent ones on there if they are actually available to buy. Zenuty's 1838 are not that bad of a deal. Pretty much only winkeyless model with browns that was made and the have a really white white doubleshots keycaps.

Thanks, I prefer the two tone sets but they are both nice. Whats the common switch on these? Blacks?

In general 1800 models are probably most common with blacks. 1813 have blues, 1838 and 186* have browns. It's also possible to get 186* model with reds and 1800 with clears though they are considerably harder to find.
