Hi all,
I'm new to the custom keyboard scene and I'm wondering why people choose to create their own PCBs? Is the main reasoning that the existing PCB key layouts on the market are not to their liking?
If you were to also design your own PCB, wouldn't you also need to make your own case for it then?
Some other questions I have are, what is the difference between a RAMA WORKS PCB compared to KBDfans', and is the price of the PCB based solely the quality of the case that it's supposed to come in?
Sorry if this isn't the right place to post these kinds of questions!

It can fit different layouts and have different features available to it. Cheap 60% pcb will not offer as many features like H60 pcb by the Hiney

Last PCB I got from JLCPCB supported a switch from the 1980s. Probably whatever layout you would like there's already a PCB for sale.
