The GB on NovelKeys for the desk mats says that they're already sold out! I'm really hoping they just haven't been added yet, because that dark version is to DIE for.

I'm planning on making this my first keycap purchase too! This is actually similar to the colours I was putting together when I was messing around on Varmilo's custom keyboard site

I messaged them and they said they should have been available yesterday 😞. I'm waiting to place my order until they are available, i think that its probably preventing a lot of other people from putting in their orders as well.

Good news with these numbers - we are close enough to say that every kit, rama, and deskpad will be made! Sales have continued to be solid for this set.

We will easily hit 500 for the base, and potentially could get close to 1,000 if they keep selling the way they are. Next numbers update will try to have all proxies updated.

Saying something runs "until" a certain date makes it seem as though that date is the last date to place orders... Since I was waiting on my paycheck to put an order in they are now out money on a full set purchase.

What's even more frustrating is that the Daily Clack still has it listed for sale.

I just sent a message to NovelKeyz regarding this same thing. I was getting paid today, so I was waiting on that to put the order since it said Feb 28th. This is pretty frustrating. Any way we can put an order in? Don't really want to pay the premium of ordering through Daily Clack to get it to NA.

Stating the GB period using "thru" instead of "to" would clear up some confusion. If it ends 27 Feb at 23:59, say "thru 27 Feb", not "to 28 Feb." Just my two cents.

Extras go up a short time after all group buy purchases have been fulfilled. They tend to go fast so you'll want to periodically check to see the time and date they will become available. If you don't manage to get any extras from a vendor then you can try to buy a set off r/mechmarket, though I should warn that many people try to sell their GMK sets for exorbitant prices.

This is something I wish GMK would do as well, but if I had to guess it's probably more work (and therefore, more costly) to purge two moulding machines for the sake of color samples rather than just one. It would definitely help with making decisions regarding colors, though generally I think GMK did a great job matching them in this case.

Some sets don't even include mod-colored tilde these days because it's "not a modifier key".

HHKB Split backspace is as follows. Note that pipe/backslash is second from the right on the top row:

The included mod colored tilde key allows 60% HHKB layouts look a bit more symmetrical, but mod-colored R1 1u pipe is not a key that is commonly used or asked for.
The latter won't be included in any future sets of mine, sorry if this is disappointing news.

Be there 2 minutes early. Refresh often. Have your credit card and address info saved, there’s no time to type. If you try for the Rama and the base kit over 15 seconds you may well end up with neither. If you go for just the base in the first few seconds you’re probably ok.

Again, Xer has hinted that he's looking into doing R2 with ePBT. They're much more open to doing Anime-based sets like ePBT Stone Age.

would it be possible to run this set with GMK using a new name and no novelties? i don't really care for the novelties, and it looks like half the people who bought R1 didn't either. i'm sure that if this set ran without novelties right now, it would sell thousands.
