Omgomgomgomg. Gan Rubiks robot.

Buh Tp4 jus bough $1000 Laptop,  Tp4 = p00r..

https://shop.gancube.com/product/gan-intelligent-cube-robot

This isn't that bad though only $150, + a second smart cube, $210.. awo;efjawgaw3ga2w3t;paw3hrl;jweo;rj

\What to dooo... !!!  hggggnnnnggg...hhhhh.

This Should accelerate cube training..

For example, if you're trying to target a specific F2L or LL algorithm, the Robot can put the cube into that state for you, and you can learn to recognize it quickly, and you won't have to attempt to memorize the entire algorithm set all at once.

People build those with 3d printers and/or Lego.
Not only does it cost less but you end up with a machine or parts you can use for something more... Useful.

So that's what the bluetooth's for - the digital generation who would rather watch their cube on screen than look at the real thing in their hand :))

I was wondering how a bot would 'see' the current state of the cube, clever stuff.

Oh that's even more lame then. They said it works with other GAN cubes too.. but if it doesn't have any cameras it wouldn't actually be able to.

Cube robot that works with nearly any cube:

I don't know if their robot uses cameras but I mentioned the bluetooth cube in tp4's other thread questioning why anyone could possibly want it and seeing it on screen in realtime shows what it can do.

Amazing that the DIY one can work with only 1 camera, seems cubes are simpler than my (legally) drug addled mind can comprehend.

I can build one, but, it's about how fast the thing can solve cubes, I don't think it would come out to much less than $100 in parts and 30hrs of labor..

I don't think I can build a solver that's this fast that easily w/ 3d printed parts. And I certainly wouldn't be able to design training software that fast.

Yes, because having a machine that solves a cube in less than 15 seconds is TOTALLY better than than junk that only does it in 16.

I get the thrill of making one, but seriously, why does one need to buy a machine to do this, much less one that does it faster than any other machine? Talk about stupid first world problems.

$150 for a rubick's cube = you are medically considered retarded

you parents were right all along

friend of mine bought a 13x13 rubiks cube for something over $300 and was able to solve it immediately

crazy price, yes, crazy person, maybe also yes, but there's things called 'hobbies' that people tend to waste money on
