New Member and Need some help

Hey I am Pings, and I will start buy saying I haven't had the best luck with keyboards. I had 3 Corsair K95 go out on me. Then I got the Logitech G513 which was a huge mistake but it doesn't matter anymore because it burnt down in the Camp Fire in Paradise CA. After the fire I wanted something special so I jumped on a GB and I am waiting for that something special now. What I need help with is some switch recommendations. Mostly I have only ever used MX Reds what are like MX Reds but better?

Welcome to geekhack, sorry about your wallet.

Better in what way??

What do you like or dislike about the reds you have tried?

Switch choice is all personal preference and is greatly influenced by all the other aspects of the particular keyboard they are used in.

If you've only used garbage keyboards (no offense just being honest) then it's hard to make a comparison.

Hello!

I suggest you go on youtube and type the name of each individual type of switch you would like to hear and see what kind of keyboard it's installed on.

My current favorites : Kailh BOX Brown or Jade (Brown isn't clicky, Jade/Navy are)

Try this video:
