This and similar right columns (starting with Del) that others mentioned don't work that well with split backspace layouts. PrtSc–Del–PgUp–PgDn (WhiteFox layout) is the most common right column setup on 65% boards with split backspace.

R1 Page Down is for 1800 layout support, i believe. 

Good catch i forgot about these completely. I will then replace these with R3 PGUP and R4 PGDN keys.

Because Del makes more sense placed next to Backspace. If you're like me, you use split BS on every single board you can, even TKL, CP and larger. Not everyone is like that, but a lot of people do use split BS on 60%/65%/66-key/75%, which is what the set is primarily meant for. Some modern Alps PCBs do support split BS.

It's 1.5u. And you're less prone to mispressing it than standard Backspace. Try it, you'll see

Unfortunately not this time. Current alps kit is just an experiment and i want to offer it with the lowest MOQ and because of that it will have quite high price tag. With higher sold numbers it will of course drop but i have no idea how many people are interested in it. Nobody can tell it at this moment. Also i think if this experiment goes well then i am sure some designers will also try to offer alps kits in the future. So probably and hopefully it will fruit in more individual alps sets.

Did you give up on СМЕНА for Alt? ВАРИАНТ is kinda... bleh. Plus, it's too wide compared to ALT, whereas the other mod legends (e.g. КОМАНДА) match their English counterparts in width pretty well.

This feels like a lot of criticism, but in reality the kits are looking much better now imo! Keep up the good work.

I think ЭКРАН does match pretty well. Thing is the scroll lock does change the arrow key behavior. ScrLk toggles into "screen mode/browse mode" (in case your current application supports this mode at all).
КУРСОР is the default mode. Say if its not toggled on.

The direct Russian translation of scroll does not match the real purpose. In that mode you don't scroll (прокручиваешь) but you are browsing by using arrow keys. Anyway most of those words are too long.

Well ПРИНТ is a direct translation and there is actually no direct synonyms for it. I know what you mean with ПЕЧАТЬ but it does not really match the translation. Printer is called принтер in Russian and not печатныи станок/агрегат/диваис итд.итп.
So for an alternative we need too look that this key actually does nowadays. And actually this key has nothing to do more with print. It does make screen shot and copies it into clipboard. So as you suggested ЭКРАН does match it pretty well but it is already on the ScrLk key and as long as i don't have proper alternative it shall stay there. So another word which might match the purpose is the БУФЕР for clipboard.

I don't think СМЕНА match it very well. СМЕНА does match more Shift. ВАРИАНТ is an indirect synonym for АЛЬТЕРНАТИВА and it does match the real purpose of the key. I am open for another indirect synonym but it should match the real purpose of the key.

There will be no Cyrillic numpad unfortunately. It is already a dilemma with all the alphas and modifiers varieties. ISO shift is available in UK ISO but only in latin.

Seconded. The TKC 1800 R3 is alps compatible but it sucks that I won't be able to put this on it.

I know that 1800 support might make the set expensive but given SP's low MOQs it might be a good idea to look into it.
