Haha I check in from time to time. I think GH has stabilised since I was 50/50 between here and Deskthority. Truth be told I am afraid I am breaking some sort of rule every time I make a post on here as I am so used to DT's derailed threads. I like to browse the Topre pictures thread on Geekhack and all the interesting artisan and keycaps sets are discussed here moreso than DT honestly.

It's so cool that KeyKollectiv is doing another run of Kosmos to give more people the opportunity to get one. Good luck to everyone, and may your RNG deity of choice smile upon you

does having chosen topre caps effect your chances of winning? i entered looking for topre versions and then noticed the sales faq stated there was a low amount of topre.

If y'all are out of topre but u are selected can we still win an mx? I'd be totally happy with an mx version. Heck it could be buckling spring, alps, whatever!:-)

If you indicated in the form that you are open to winning caps you didn't list as your top 3 and you're chosen then I would assume yes.

that's what i was hoping for but it looks like from their last announcement that is not the case. downside of choosing topre, a lot less caps. plus side is potentially a lot less ppl going for them. Meowcaps sale graphic shows only 13.6% entered looking for topre so potentially you're going from a pool of 1382.4 ppl looking for mx to 217.6 ppl looking for topre (based on a total entry of 1600)

so the question is exactly how many topre caps are there?
and yes I am definitely overthinking this:-)

My apologies if I haven't gotten back to all the messages/PMs/emails etc. We're slogging through the backlog and appreciate your patience throughout this process. It's a bit premature to release the data but there has been a lot of speculation and conjecture so we might as well clear the air.

The previous estimate of <5% win rate was based on a limit of 2 caps per person. Because the max cap value is now one (per person), the chances are closer to 8-9%. So far, we are looking at a little over 1600 entries. Below is a preliminary breakdown of selections. Please keep in mind that the raffle doesn't close until tomorrow evening so these numbers are subject to change. We'll keep you guys posted on final figures. Thanks!

The cool part of KK's sales is that there are 1,600 interested participants and yet Kudos always responds individually to members of the community like you are important. I can't even imagine what 1,600 names looks like on a spreadsheet let alone even know 1,600 people to begin with.

Love the way these raffles are handled and really hope the revival goes to good homes. We're almost there guys!

Hey guys,

I think, for the sake of not keeping people in suspense, we will be primarily focused on selecting winners for this sale tonight. I was originally going to post some data to look over but it doesn't differ too much from the previous post.

We've received quite a few inquiries so far so we will do our best to keep you guys updated on what is currently happening. Here's what the process will likely pan out:

• Review spreadsheet of entries
• Review all requests for re-entry
• Remove all duplicate entries
• Run RNG
• Distribute caps based on selection
• Prepare PayPal template
• Send out invoices

Currently, we are beginning the RNG process. Our hope is to get some invoices out tonight if possible. But for the sake of managing expectations, please understand that we may not conclude until tomorrow. Rest assured that an announcement will be made once we complete the invoicing process. Kudos and godspeed.
