This is the new base kit:

(Attachment Link)

What does everyone think?

Are there any other keys that should be added?
Would you be so kind to add the rest of the keys for a proper SWE/FI layout? In the 9009 international kit IC the consensus was that almost 80% of people prefer to pay a little more to get full coverage. If you do plan on not adding those, please at least be evenhanded in removing 30% of UK specific and ANSI specific keys as well.

ps. I don't really get it why you keep the ansi keys in this at all. You can already buy ansi sets by ePBT in multiple colourways.

I'm not even interested in the UK/ISO aspect, I'm in this simply because it includes R3 Control, 1.75u shift, R2 backspace, 75% & 1800 layout keys. If ANSI keys were removed, I'd have to buy this AND the normal ANSI sets, which I'm not going to do

I'm sure there are others in the same boat who want the extra layout options for their ANSI or modified ANSI boards

I will gladly add the rest of the SWE/FI layout! Which additional keys are required?

The ANSI Keys will remain as it means ISO users have the option of ANSI keys for future keyboards. There may also be ANSI users, who might want to use ISO in the future.

Let me know which additional keys are required, and I will add them. :)

The colours are not decided, but they will likely have the standard enjoyPBT colour scheme that can be seen here: https://kbdfans.myshopify.com/collections/keycaps/products/gbenjoypbt-forgive-132key-keycaps

If any other keys need to be added, please let me know.

Let me know which additional keys are required, and I will add them. :)
The kit in T0mb3ry's eclipse seems to contain what is needed for good support of at least SWE/FI/DE/NO.

A complete support for the 2008 FI keyboard layout would look like this:
(I have not seen anyone print this on any keyboard yet, and while a nice curiosity I would not push for anyone to add this to any GB)

These keys in particular would complete the Finnish-Swedish keyboard:

Have I got all of the keycaps for the ISO-FR layout? Which ones am I missing?

Pretty much, I think this group buy would benefit from a name change since it's more of an expanded compatibility enjoyPbt set rather than specifically ISO set. Lot of potential interest globally

If you change the name people will be pouring in here to complain about the number of international keys  :))
"such expensive" "very many keys" "why not separate kit", while this _is_ the separate kit.

I would like to know what the blank modifiers are doing in there?
Also watch out that the set doesn't get too expensive, because the more expensive it gets the less people will buy it

I thought I had removed those in the latest update, thank you for reminding me. I thought they were necessary for a particular layout, but I think I was wrong.

I think that this will be the final base kit, I don't think there are any more ISO keys to add.

That, and R3 Stepped Control are the last keys I think I will add.

The only thing to change with this set is to add icons to the modifiers.

The legend colour will be black.

UK - OK

DE - Missing the key. Also the alignment of the AltGr legends are wrong on and .

FI/SE - OK

DK - Double check the alignment on the key. It's hard to see if its correct.

NO - Same as above for the key

FR - The key looks like it has quotes instead of umlaut. The key is redundant, as it is included for NO. What is the key for?

How much interest has there been for FR? It's 25 keys after all.

I wouldn't mind a smaller amount and paying a little more to help out the European communities that usually get shafted by lack of availability, but there's just so many now...

I guess you would have to see the price, before you can decide whether the set is too expensive for you. There are many cheap ePBT sets out there and considering that ISO support was the whole point of this GB, as stated in the OP, I find it a little annoying that people are starting to demand stripping this down to a yet another #MAGA set of which there is an abundance already.

Maybe a separate IC with different priorities should be started, focusing on the needs of generic ansi users. Originative's modern beige and Shadovved's ePBT GBs have been great successes, and following in their footsteps it should be trivial to set up something for the ansi community, without the need to water down this one.  You could even have the distributor in the US of A and save in shipping costs, which are bound to be the next thing US based ansi users are going to complain about. (see the eclipse GB and people complaining about an European distributor is "not fulfilling" the needs of Americans)

My sincere hope is that this GB will continue to focus on the markets that are not yet covered by ePBT (or any cherry profile dyesub) sets.

How much interest has there been for FR? It's 25 keys after all.

Thank you for looking over the entire set! I will correct an issues / add any missing keys immediately! :)

If the price of this kit is too expensive, I will consider removing the ISO-FR Keys. Ideally I would like to keep them, however I can understand that people don't want to pay a large amount for this set, especially when they will only use a few keys.

This is the new base kit:

I think this will be the final base kit.
I can try and double check the included keys, if you want. What compatibility are you aiming for? Like everything, including ES/IT/PT/FR? Or just Ansi+NorDeUK?

I have uploaded a new base kit. Please check the new base kit.

I am mainly aiming for ANSI+ NorDeUK support.

How much are those european keys adding to the final cost? Seems to be growing quickly, might be worth selling as a separate kit
I think that splitting the set is going to make it even more expensive. There are ansi only ePBT sets out there already.

There won't be any separate kits.

You mean you're not willing to pay $200 for some extra keys you won't use? Nonsense.

My sincere hope is that this GB will continue to focus on the markets that are not yet covered by ePBT (or any cherry profile dyesub) sets.

Just buy something like this already:
https://kbdfans.myshopify.com/collections/keycaps/products/pre-order-enjoypbt-arabic-duy-sub-keycaps

Comes with everything you just listed and more.

If it were Jp instead of Arabic, I would  ;D
Your ideal set has already been made (surprise! ansi power!): https://originative.co/products/modern-beige?variant=18906335301

If the set is too expensive, I will consider removing the ISO-FR keys as there does not seem to be much interest in these.

Nope, originative ****ed that up. For example, there's an R3 + for 1800 support, but no R2 -. I could list everything else wrong with the set, but there's just too much missing for $99 + shipping.

The windowed lock keys are nice however, and I'd really like to see that done with this set...
