Even without an extension I'm 99% sure we'll reach 500 before the GB closes up.

Perhaps true, but I still think an extension would be nice. If there were another week I’d probably consider buying a second set. I’m sure I’m not alone. Bridging a month of paychecks always seems like a good idea for GB to me. Especially given there are likely lots of people getting paid on Monday.

Do you know what time the GB for 9009 closes?
I wanna put in 2 full sets but i'm on the fence... and wondering if this GB would be extended.

The week extension is great news! I don't get paid until Wednesday the 18th and thought I was going to have to miss this group buy; miss the first set I've wanted in months. Now I can join the group buy and help push it closer to next MOQ. Hurry up Wednesday!

Also exciting to see the price drop for the spacebar-kit. This is an incredible value set.

Going past 500 with non-MD, classic color way is just incredible.  :thumb:
Regional proxies with faster delivery time and lower cost is something special that MD can't match.  :-*

Another pleasant surprise is Add-on Kit approaching 250.  Who would have thought...
Is it possible to get price drop at 250?  With lower price, I'd probably buy a few more for LED window-less Cherry sets that I own.

This has been a very well-organised, successful GB. Fingers crossed there's no production delays or anything like that, and we get our sets early next year. Thanks to all involved.

I've ordered 2 of each set, one I'm definitely keeping and another I'll probably sell at cost, there's bound to be folks that couldn't get in the GB for whatever reason that will want to purchase at a later date, and it helps hit MOQs which is good for everyone  :p

I really shouldn't buy this since I recently dropped a ton on SA Oblivion, will be buying Laser, the Southpaw 65+ and SNES if that happens soon, will probably grab Black Lotus, and already have Honeywell for a classic look.  But I feel like I'll end up regretting not getting on board.  It just has such a soothing pastel-ish look.

I made an announcement that we setup pre-orders with mykeyboard.eu for all the eu folk. Also the 40's kit will be run regardless if moq hits :D.

I know this is late, but are the mathematical symbols on the numpad is the one like in the render? I mean, GMK has the 'correct' (÷ and ×) legend like Nautilus and Yuri use and I think it is better (and looks cleaner and aligned to the icon mod style) to use them instead of / and * ones.

Those correct symbols are used in European versions of vintage keyboards, I wonder why American versions use the other ugly ones, Do Europeans have a better taste? really.

i agree, ÷ and × looks cleaner, but it isn't a dealbreaker for since i don't use a numpad anyway

I agree with you, there won't much people that will make this small thing a dealbreaker, even there won't be any lol. But for the exact same reason, why not we push this to make the set as best as possible?

It's already in the gb phase, it's a big no no to change something when you already pushed the release of it.

Will there be a drop @250 on the addon like spacebars?

No, thank YOU for making this happen.
Now I don't have to look for GMK 9009 desperately with an intention to spend more than $300 on a set.

As mentioned before, we are processing PARTIAL refunds for all orders that were placed before MOQ was reached. If you log into PayPal you should see the precise amount we are refunding.

I'm receiving quite a few emails about this and have clarified, please check.

I've entered the GB from the beginning on mykeyboard.eu. Does some one got already the refund (because the base set reached MOQ of 500 and above) from them or is it still in processing?

I contacted David from MyKeyboard.eu about the refunds and he told me he's working on it. Sorry for the delay guys, but you'll obviously all get your money  :thumb:

As for general updates on 9009:

We're still waiting for a pretty large amount of money to clear on the US proxy side. Even though Garrett contacted PayPal in advance explaining what was going to happen and they told him it was fine, a large amount of money still didn't end up clearing immediately. This will sadly move the whole timeline up a bit. I'm working on the last steps for setting up the GMK invoice for other vendors right now, meaning that as soon as the money clears we should be golded to put the order in!

I want to apologise for not being as active as I was in the beginning stages of this GB, I have been beeing quite busy IRL... I should be able to update you all to say the order is put in soon!!!!  :)

Thanks for the update!
