Looking into split keyboard for racing rig
« on: Thu, 16 November 2017, 00:30:56 »
I would really like to be able to type at my racing rig without leaning all the way to my left or typing one-handed, so I am going to try to go the split keyboard route

I have useless pinkies

bonus if it has a trackball, especially if it's around the thumb area

not wanting to spend more than $350 CAD on it, and I don't have the means to assemble a kit (hands too shaky to solder safely)

should be relatively easy to switch between it and a standard staggered qwerty, since I have to use one for work

should have an option to come with relatively quiet switches; this isn't my typing pleasure board, this is purely for utility while racing, and keyboards in voice chat are not generally enjoyed.
it's pronounced "danw omansen", not "dan woman san"
