Project M

Just finished "Project M" - threw some nice keycaps onto my 1388032 (already a gorgeous-looking keyboard IMO). Wanted to share the result, I'm quite happy with it! :D You might even be able to recognise what keyboards the caps are off of ;) .

Absolutely gorgeous.  I assume it's bolt-modded?

No ****ing way am I going to irreversibly mod this keyboard xD . Besides, it's missing barely any rivets (they're hand-melted, I think it's a pre-production one).

Hah, well that's a good reason - I never know so I just wanted to ask.  If it's modded versus broken, I'd always take modded (and frequently back preventive modding anyways).

That is indeed a nice looking M :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just came across this thread. Very nice looking M!

I always wanted a square label industrial. But never found a good and affordable one.
