[Sold] IBM 3101 $75
« on: Sun, 21 January 2018, 18:00:40 »
Just missed this one but nice to see one not sell for over 4 figures. It is weird that this seller knew it was a beam spring yet didn't do an auction style listing. I am betting they use automated posting software and did not receive a recommended selling price.

Ha, that must've set a record for shortest keyboard listing!

It's a recycler with a ton of stuff listed, so you could assume it was just a case of quantity vs. knowledge. But they knew enough to list the system number and name, and it was obviously in excellent condition... Weird! Well, I'm glad someone got such a good deal.

One can't help optimistically scrolling down to the "similar items" section, in the hopes they had a carload of them—but no.  :?)

This recycler always has pretty good deals. I nabbed an XT today for $33 shipped so not bad.
