So far it looks like the board is not actually black-black but very, very dark gray because of the finish. Can anyone confirm? This would be amazing news for me ;p

Just received it before Christmas so only have a photo taken by phone. A lot of amazing details inside of the case. It’s my first time having a TGR and it’s well worth the wait. Thanks Yuktsi for making it happen!

Are inks really that bad? I bought a few different batches and only a handful were noticably loose.

I haven't tested them thoroughly though. I have vint blacks on deck that I could use instead, but honestly the inks felt better when I put both in a spare plate to test.

My last 2 batches of inks had their leaves go flying. Was fun, would lube again
