Does GMK offer operating system agnostic keys? I use OS X as well and hate having the Windows logo on my boards. I'd even prefer a blank.

Also, possible to get the function key printed with Fn instead of the bars?

This is subtle and very elegant.  I wonder how it would look if the blue, and purple keys were reversed.

There's definitely a plan for this set. I have something that I need to be done first to make sure this one goes smooth as butter.

As far as the pad printed win logo goes, I'll talk to gmk to see what we can do about it. Definitely want a classic look without ruining the set, so I chose win95.

More to come!

+1 Win95 ( really wish they would offer them in double shot.)

Now if only there were text + icon mods.

I'm 100% for Win95, but I wonder if you should offer the modern Windows logos as well. I see this set as a "modern" approach to Classic Beige, so the current Windows logos seem fitting too.

But that would probably just drive up the cost.

Was wondering...

Any chance there could be a R5 bottom row? I've since fallen in love with R5 ever since trying it out in GMK Classic Retro and Originative Cyrillic, and having this with that would be killer.  ;)

Splitting hairs here since your choices will look great, but that shows a tad green to me.  Personally like the idea of something a shade more blue.
I like this
https://www.pantone.com/color-finder/304-CP
or this
https://www.pantone.com/color-finder/636-CP

with this (more muted purple)

Love it.

I am a -1 on the windows key though.

If the mods went to minimalistic symbols and not text I would throw money at you.

I think this set matches my macs more than my windows computers, so I would love to not have to stare at the windows symbol.

Personally, I have no need for arrow keys in the accent sets, but like the idea to have them monochromatic instead of being them made of different colors.

Edit: I suggest the OP to consider adding a 6u space bar to the base set and to the accent sets.

Nice set, and the renders are really selling it! :thumb:

I'm glad the UK ISO side prints are gone. I would have been willing to pay five more bucks for proper ISO UK legended caps in order for the base set to remain clean.

This set with the purple accents reminds me of the Type 6 keyboard from Sun Microsystems:

161446-0

So, let's go with (doubleshot) Diamonds!

Also, as this set has no more ISO Intl support, how about changing the R3 ~# to \| like it was done with GMK Soware or WoB? This one last keycap and US on ISO gets its two \| caps perfect:

My 1st preference is for doubleshot windows, 2nd pad printed classic windows.

My least preferred are the diamonds. For me, they make the keyboard look like a knockoff/cheap.

I'm onboard with the updated look! The grey colorway with the icon modifiers looks slick. I also see it as a modern version of classic beige.

I like that the accents are a separate kit. I'm in for two 9009 kits for my OG cherry.

I really like how everyone is contributing to the kit! :D

Here are some thoughts:

1. I'll be making it have the ISO keys that people asked for.
2. Maybe just have Modern Windows keys? It really is a "modern classic beige" type of feel IMO.
3. Include "Super" key as a default GUI key.

And no to diamonds, I don't think it fits. N9 legends? I like it, but i feel that the contrast needs to be from CR. N9 might be a little too light for this set specifically.

LMK your thoughts! :D

An extra 00 key or is a matching blank easy enough to find elsewhere?

Modern Window keys would be great, they are double shots so they are good. After all this is a modern version of a classic, so modern Window keys fit well. A super legens is OK too; but, maybe a CODE key would be ok too? It is great that you will include the ISO keys asked.

You can have alts without the LED window. Not too many kits have LED windows and I always like them.
For the caps that do have the LED windows anyway, it's not like you're going to be pressing them enough for the pad printing to wear out quickly.

I really like the look of this, are you sure we can have custom colours and still have MOQ of 150 units?

Reading through the comments here, I'd go with the modern Windows logo, it's minimalistic and inoffensive. At a stretch I'd settle for Diamond logos, but please no blanks, it looks really strange to have a blank cap in between legended ones.

6u spacebars would be nice, for those of us wanting to build true MX-HHKBs or for use with modern winkeyed Cherry 1800 keyboards or the likes.

I'm taking all the comments into comments into consideration. 6u will be added, as I'm looking to build an awesome mx HHKB soon.

I'll look into the pad print thing.

Lastly, the community will have the 150 moq, while I take stock for 100, just as I did for Soware. Reception looks good to get 150:)🙃

Would it be possible to get light gray/white F1-F4/F9-F12 keys in order to have the classic alternating colors F row? Would be great for those looking for a simple GMK beige set.

Also, was the name and blue/purple accents inspired by the color scheme of Mute City by any chance?
