Title: Oryx vs QMK - any difference?
Post by: HighKey on Thu, 05 March 2020, 06:16:08
comparing Oryx from EZ with QMK I noted that the former supports 32 layer while the latter 16. I couldn't spot any other differences.

What is the difference in using firmware from one over the other? I understand that Oryx is only a configurator like `QMK Configurator` and apparently uses QMK underneath. EZ claims that we can modify the firmware with QMK but is it different from the firmware shipped by them?

Can EZ firmware be modified as well?
