I was hoping for a purple set. Purple mods with a lilac font and lilac alphas with a purple font.
I also wanted to mention we will be selling a bunch of different colored Esc keys, some blanks maybe if people are interested, and 6.25x/7x space bars in various colors.
One of the Esc keys is a Magenta on Cyan for that Miami look. I think these colors will go good with each other.
I think of GMK sets as being "sophisticated" in terms of their color offerings so far. Personally I'd stick with combinations that continue that trend rather than going with "gamer combos". Some unusual / uncommon colors would be interesting.

That color of teal is more like a sky blue. Are you talking about above or below the Cyan key?

That looks like the Dolch Pac logo color! I think you need to change it to Cherry font though :(

I think the confusion comes from the fact that you have "Soware" and "Yolch" listed in the original post--and those are definitely more than 2-color sets.

Raindrop is pretty close to CCnB (Cream Cheese & Blue), which a lot if people have mentioned.
I would love burgundy anything, really, but standard Cherry profile. I love the Retro colorscheme but not the DSA profile.

When you say monotoned what you mean by that? we will have the retro style like the modifiers in brown color right? I think this deep cream color + nice/proper brown color for modifiers would be nice combo.

I love that TA set too, closest to current GMK stock is N7/U9
It's not hate for Graphite, but the fact that it doesn't necessarily provide anything more than other similar colored sets already available or in GB. The difference that Graphite provided in regards to SP was a nice Dolch colored set with nicer legends on some of the caps. I think we need to jump back towards some key sets with color. The graphite set is too safe. The neutral colors make it popular, I think.
The Originative Dolch GB just ended. The DSA Dolch GB is in production. The new Dark Dolch GB is underway. We need a quality set with actual colors.
I would vote for purple but I can tell it's not to popular right now around here. And, we just finished the DCS Lilac GB.
In the end, I just want something nice with color.

SoWaRe has taken the lead :-[No chit. I see no creativity here. Sets like this, soware, red alert clone, dolch, raindrop are all old news. Good luck getting much volume on them. Unless it is new and has a WOW factor you will have volume issues.

Handarbeit colored legends on Dolch?
I have a couple of color schemes that I would like see if the subject is still open for ideas. The first is a reverse Dolch and the second is with purple mods like a recent IvanIvanovich group buy with dark gray alphas like the Dolch (GX). Both ideas are kind-of a Dolch inspired theme. I would be interested in either and they could be mixed and matched.

Dolch was sold out a long time before it even shipped, there are still a ton of people who haven't been able to get their hands on a set. I like a splash of colour as much as the next guy but really only when they're done tastefully, Handarbeit is just unicorn vomit to me.
Handarbeit is one of those things you're like WTF, then WANT, then your eyes start spinning as you try to try on it.

That's unfortunately so true here. He's a business man FIRST and everything else comes a very distant last. If he knows GREY will sell, then there's nothing we can do to dissuade his final choice, like I said before some of us will stay in our dimly lit corners and wait out this GB - till something 'decent' comes along.
Of course I'm only speaking of myself here. A lot thus far are still crazy for GREYS hence Sherry will make money no doubt, but if there are any other colours being made it's only going to be Handarbeit for the buy then a long time till any other colour spectrum will apprear on his website.... I'm at least glad he chose Handarbeit and not gone through some bullsh*t democratic procedure (which sucks actually in the real world).

Ya our office clicks a lot now days. It took one person getting a blue filco and now 1/2 the office have mech keyboards.
The main reason why I am the strange one is because I buy keycap sets. They don't get why the caps the board came with arnt good enough and can't imagine why you would spend as much on the keycaps as you do on the keyboard.
It's tough to go back to stock filco caps after using thick pbt for a while though.

That Famicon would look amazing on my white-framed Rosewill, but alas, I voted for the Dolch colored Dolch because I'm having a heck of a time finding a double-shot set for the 3rd gen Das model S Pro I use at work. When I ordered it I did not know that Das had modified the bottom row to make room for a function key. I am tempted to get the Handarbeit set for it, but I'm afraid it would send the PFY into uncontrollable nerdgasms. By the way Sherry, any chance of getting an extra 1x Win key added to a tsangan set for my aforementioned 3rd gen Das? I think I voted in time with my extras request, but I'm not sure. I'm happy to spring for a tsangan to accomodate my odd-ball layout, but not two of them. Most tsangan sets seem to have enough other extras to make it work, but that second Win key is rare.
Oh, and if anyone is willing to answer my newb question, what program do you guys use to make your keyboard color mockups? I have an Idea that I think would look really fantastic.

I actually asked Sherry if he can include 2 x1 keys to the Tsangan kit and he did that, that's why the price went from $15 to $17 on the Tsangan, it makes sense because a lot of people have the Cheat layout and not only winkeyless 1.5 modifiers.
Sherry Tsangan will have 4x 1.50 , 2 x1 , x7 space bar. Why on earth you need one more x1 key? you need 3 of them?.....
Because Das decided to squeeze in a separate function key between the left control key and windows key, and to make room they squashed the windows keys and menu key down to 1x. That puts a total of four 1x keys on the bottom row. Most of the images Das put online are inaccurate, even on the big splash page for the product. The picture on the box the keyboard came in is not accurate. If I had know that they had changed the size of the modifiers I wouldn't have bought it.

Honestly, I wish all keyboard makers would put the Fn key on the left side. Laptops frequently have it there and it means not having to take your hand off the mouse to do something like adjust the volume when gaming.

Just buy 2 tsangan kits and take the 1x keys from the 2nd and sell it without those. That is what i've being doing for years now on my g80-1863's that have 7 1x keys on the bottom

I measured the space bar at 113mm long with 3 mounts 49mm apart, measured on center. It has a 4th, unused mount that I didn't pay much attention to. I compared it to my co-worker's Razer, and it looks identical down to the mounts

Honestly it's really not that hard to find good WoB keys, just ordered two sets off Taobao last night. Only problem is the mods.
For white on black the easiest to get are G81-7000, G81-8000 and G80-8113 or 8200. In general none of those give a full doubleshot 100% fitting set for other keyboard. Almost always need to get 2 of those to get the set you want. A good small white on black adapter set would probably do ok for many people with 1.25, 1.5 control and alt, 1.25 win and menu, 2.75 shift, 2.25 enter, 1.75 fulltouch caps lock, 1.5 \|, the nav 6pack, 2x 0 key, 1x2 + and spacebars in 6.25 and 7 since GMK have 6.25 with 'normal' stem positions so you can use them on non Cherry keyboards.
I have like two new sets of WoB, and at least a couple others in good condition, and a couple more shiny. I could use the mods more than anything.

But really, I prefer the Aloha set. :)

Ivan's Dolch. Sherry's Dolch was great, but Ivan's Dolch-ish one is having major issues because of the price.
