I like the good-naturedness of this community.

This isn't actionable feedback, and I am sure some will disagree, but...

I lurked here a long time before finally registering and becoming active, and I have to say, the people on this forum are pretty great compared to a lot of other places. No forum is perfect, but overall, members of this forum seem mature, polite, and willing to help, even without heavy moderation. That's pretty awesome.  :thumb: I hope that doesn't change as more people discover this hobby.

I agree; it's what first drew me to register as well.  I think a lot of people want to buy a keyboard; they google and they end up lurking here and finding some recommendation.  Maybe they don't intend on registering, but they see that community you are talking about.  I love it.
I'm back.

And because it is a keyboard forum, people tend to type more or take the opportunity to help because you know, more opportunity to type. Maybe that is the reason :P

I lurked for years before joining. I've read some unpleasant posts; but I've made some connections with people given to intelligent discourse. To those who insist on using the collective forum for 'taking a stand', I just as soon not become a part of their unpleasantness. I've come to value and appreciate the opinions and advice I've received from those who've chosen to contribute and make geekhack a worthwhile site. I quite enjoy reading many posts and look forward to checking in repeatedly each day. I'm with you: the good-nature of the many make this a great site and community.

Absolutely agree with this!! It's what keeps me coming back here!

If you really want to load up on the good vibes: get in on the Secret Santa this year. I really enjoyed that!

(Check out Noko Wrist Rests: That was my secret santa gift this year).

Cheers,

Lets talk again after you have had opportunities to witness some actual "conversations".  ^-^
