Just ordered some Gateron Inks and Silent Inks today.

Bought a new KB kit a couple of days ago.

Got in on Kuro Shiro just before the GB ended about a week ago.

I will not spend any more money.

Not a big fan of the text mod for the ergo kit as there is no standard layout.
It's nice but blanks would have been cheaper as you could also drop all the duplicate keys.

I wish a kit has double 2u spacebar for Boardwalk pcb.
This is dyesub. Printing the legends is cheap and it won't make much of a difference.

I take it that Katakana support for the international kit is off the table, since it'll almost double the number of keys?

Any chance of an R1 1.5u backspace in the extensions kit or 40s and an R2 1u pipe in the symmetry kit? This set would look lovely on my M0110 when it’s done.

I'll think about it, but I haven't seen many boards with a R1 1.5 Backspace.

Thanks for considering!

At least it’s in one kit so I can’t really complain. I don’t use ergo and it would be hard to sell the rest of the set with one missing key. As it stands, I would need 5 kits to cover one board. It would be nice to only have to buy 4 kits

I've been using /dev/tty with the R5 bottom row as my daily driver at work since I got round 1. I don't think I can go back to an angled space bar.

The colorway and legends are great, though.

Disheartening to see the ergodox modifiers are function-specific instead of being generic keys - like with the Oblotzky's assembly kits.

I don't like those ones. There are plenty of non-specfic keys that you should be able to fill most of the layouts with them.

I'm mostly okay with the keys you've chosen. But I find R3 tab to be an odd choice over an R3 control.

However, seeing that there are very few "standard" ergodox layouts that people use (as many users prefer to make their own layouts to suit their own needs) - something along the lines of the novelty legends might make more sense, and reduce the amount of keycaps required for the kit.

A cost reduction and general compatibility increase while keeping the aesthetic is a win/win/win in that regard.

I wholeheartedly agree with more generic legends. Like un_related said, it's a win/win/win.

I know it's a long shot, but would there be any chance to have some R4 1.25u keys added? My unigo66 has 4 1.25u keys and it'd help if I didn't have to buy a 40s kit to obtain them. I understand this is unlikely, but I had to at least ask  ;D

SA version of Serika is very unlikely to happen.

Unlikely. The kit is pretty much specific to Ergodox. I am aware that there are lot of split ergo boards out there, and I'm not keen on making a super huge Ergo kit.

Oops.  Still comparatively new to this.  The similarity between MT3 /dev/tty and MDA Big Bone with the multi-colored modifiers kits made me associate MT3 and MDA.  Which has no effect on my wanting this set.  Definitly in.   :thumb:

On the home row, all eight of your fingers get their own homing key - assuming you get the plain Latin alpha kit.

Instead of having just 2 homing keys (F and J) you have 8.

Can you include the Symmetry kit with the Alphas?  I really don't want spend $15 for 3 of the 6 keys in that set.  Looking at how MT3 Godspeed and XDA Canvas did on the Sym Kit, they didn't hit MOQ which means MassDrop would have to buy extra and just sit in their inventory to hoping that people will buy them for $25 during Re-Cap.

I agree that symmetries could be distributed into the other kits. Tilde could go into extensions and the 1.5u pipe key could go into alphas/modifiers, for example.

Also, no more square geometry novelty? I really liked that one.

Just noticed one thing that I would suggest; would you consider adding a yellow " key to either the Forties or symmetry kit? It's on the default Planck layout so I would guess that more folks getting the Forties kit would prefer it in yellow than white.

This is awesome! I've dabbled in Colemak DH and was super happy to see that support for it has seemingly become standard in MT3 sets (Susuwatari, Godspeed). Glad to see Serika is continuing this trend!

Your alternative layouts kit doesn't include various for colemak mod dh - the original mt3 set does.

Can you please add it?

Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
That kit covers Coleman, Dvorak, Workman, and Norman. If it's a modified version of Coleman, I think we would be going a little bit too far with that kit.
May I ask how Workman and Norman were chosen? It seems arbitrary to me, especially considering that mt3 had support for mod dh from the start, so you must have actively taken it away.

Or is it purely a matter of cost?

Edit - ignore me, I replied before seeing that you already added support.
