Finally decided to join this money pit...
« on: Sat, 14 May 2016, 13:54:00 »
Hey guys Im ceasar or Bryce whatever works. Just finished my 2nd year of college and plan on going to Kutztown in the fall, if anyone is from around these necks of the woods hit me up! I just bought a pok3r and cannot wait for it to come and start modding it when I get some more money. Will be my first mech keyboard. I went with the Clear switches based on my preferences. Im also in to Comp Security mostly CTFS, programming, listen to a lot of alt music. I spend a lot of time in the gym or on a kayak.

Cannot wait to meet all of you and become part of this community!

P.S. Sorry now for the n00b questions ill eventually ask

Welcome to Geekhack!

Pok3r is a great keyboard, and MX clears are fantastic switches!

Everyone asks n00B questions to begin with, well, nearly everyone.  So ask away!

And be sure to check the recommended reading links first, in case your questions have already been answered ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Unfortunately my baseball skills are not on par with Mr. Harper.

Also, Im really enjoying the board I think the switches suit me best. Havent decided on what keycap colors I want to switch to next but Im leaning towards a blue gray. Also would be awesome to add bluetooth to it if that is at all possible, I have done 0 research so far just enjoying it for now.
