This is what I understand from the translation.

GMK ****ed up the profile of the new rgb, the blue alt is the old profile in comparison.

EDIT: Found out that this is the sample they got and they are going to change it into the profile we are used to see these in.

So the taller ones are the "mistake"? Honestly, I like them. It seems they'd be the same height as the bottom row of the black on beige set I have, and they'd match well with the legends matching.

Lysol has a better description of this somewhere, but I cannot find it

Originally Control/Alt row had its own profile, which is what the mistake keys have here.
Later cherry switched so that Control/Alt used the same profile as zxcv row, which is what we are all used to and expect to receive

Now it will be interesting to see what GMK does for Customer Service to fix this as you could argue that it is not their fault.....

Don't see it as a problem though, if the people ordering didn't specify you can't blame them GMK..

You have old Cherry A profile modifier, which was dropped a LONG time ago. Now bottom row is B profile same as shift row.

Well, its good that they have samples. Just gotta be patient since this isn't Melissa, and she isn't here to fix all our boo boos.

Gotta give her props, she takes a LOT of crap from us/KBDMania/OTD/DT etc.

The ones with A profile would be more authentic technically. I would guess they send a picture of original RGB which are A profile control and alt and say we want this, so GMK gave them what they saw.

I've never seen Cherry RGB with white. Dyesub is most common, but there have been some sightings of doubleshots also with black legend.

Dolch is B profile bottom row, I have also never seen a black set with A profile either. B profile is by far more common on anything that is not beige.

Chaos has sold the DS black on RGB doubleshots IIRC. He asked something crazy like $400.

Yup! Exactly what lysol said. I'd be interested in a set of DS RGB in B profile to match Dolch and Black DS. For winkeyless keyboards, it's not a big deal. But when I use the DESKO RGB's on a keyboard that is 1.5/1/1.5, the 1-unit key never matches up if I use Dolch or Black doubleshots...

Yeah 1 unit A profile Windows or blank key is a real pain to locate... though I have some. B profile is much more pleasant to type on anyway.

Well, people seem to like dye subbed RGB's which have black legends, so I'd say that people will like these also.

I'm not sure why either. The colors look alright to me,maybe its your monitor or the photo not being properly balanced. I'm not exactly sure. It could also be personal preference:)

I am only wondering because I think RGBs would look great on sets with white legends, but right now my RGBs with black legends look out of place.

Thats exactly what I think too.

You see, if you have a white on black cherry ds set and use a white on red cherry esc it looks amazing.
But when the table is turned around and you try a beige/white cherry set and use the white on red esc it looks crappy..
