Somehow the Ice Blue one was sold out instantly (opened my email as soon as it was received, clicked Ice-Blue as soon as I saw it). Ended up picking Ice-Ice. I don't think it was a bad second option.

I kind of feel gyped having the sale be so early. No accounting for people with lives to live? Having the sale in the evening would have seemed much more fair.

Point blank, there is no *right* time to sell something like this. Evening for you is work time, sleep time, meal time or any other time for the people that were online to get the offerings that went up today. Is it fair that your leisure time should be considered more convenient than their's or vise versa? I would say no, but that's why these things are usually a mixed bag, in terms of when they go for sale and how (when talking about CCs, at least).

It sucks not being able to get the nifty things that you want, I have empathy for that, but sadly it is what it is.

If I am perfectly honest, the thought of buying to be able to trade at a later date did cross my mind, but eventually decided it was ridiculous, and they should obviously go to the people who want them.
