I see more photos of the EM7 unbuilt than built.

This! I've mentioned how there are way more photos of unbuilt EM7s.

That said, someone did share a couple of videos of typing on an EM7.

I wonder if people are just buying EM7s for a special collection and intend to sell them at a high price later.
I personally never used EM7 so I'm not sure if I'll like the layout or not.

I also do not know how good/bad EM7 will be with noise and vibration from keypresses. I know mass-made Leopold FC660M is built solid and also has a sound-deadening material inside, too.  In other words, does EM7 require additional work with sound-deadening material inside the PCB, etc to prevent it from sounding hollow with key press?

I'd like to see more videos of EM7 but I can't even find any. lol

I don't think most people would do that whether in this group buy or others.  I'm assuming the average price of one of these kits are $600-700.  People seem reluctant to purchase high priced kits, and I think there are better ways to spend money than to tie up your money for 12-16 weeks plus unforeseen circumstances to make maybe $100 of profit.

I'm sure noise and vibration is going to dictated by your switch, and parts selection.

Most if not all metal cased keyboards have a slight ping on the bottom out. So you'll most likely have to put some foam in.

I put sound dampening foam in all my boards regardless of their sound properties. It's one of he easiest "mods" you can do that can change the experience of the board

By the way, thanks for offering SMT with the EM7 PCBs. 

Has an ALPS PCB ever been made for the EM7? The base ALPS kit from the currently running DSA Light Cycle GB actually supports the EM7. The extra 1.5u \| has to be used on the bottom row to account for the lack of a third 1.5u keycap but otherwise the compatibility set is not needed.

Yeah, the layout seems like it would be a bit difficult to adjust to. Especially with the position of the modifiers. It's still looks amazing though.

I've looked at some of the pics of built EM7 at Kbdlabs.co.kr, and it does look AMAZING. (http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?document_srl=4071759&mid=board_Lsno50)
However, the layout is what kills me at the same time.

I have 2 HHKB Type-S, 1 HHKB BT, Duck Blackbird HHKB layout and waiting for Rama M65-A and LZ-CLS to come to daddy!

Nah, I'd say they feel in between stock cherry mx black and stock gat black. The housing for cherry switches are kinda scratchy and don't create the same feeling as vintage blacks

Paid!  My wallet is hemorrhaging, 2017 might be the best year for customs, but it may be the worst year for the wallet.

I'm planning on buying sampler packs of many different switches to see how I like them.  I'm going to try Invr stems in Zeal housings, Zeal stems in Invyr housings.  I also want to try jailhouse vintage blues and see if they are compatible with Zeal or Invyr housings.
