My ";" key only activates sometimes
« on: Wed, 28 June 2023, 00:35:24 »
Yo, I got a Razer blackwidow x, I believe, keyboard and I am trying to code for the first time but recently my semicolon key ";" only registers being pressed only sometimes.  I noticed that it only registers 100% when I hit it from the bottom of the face but from the top, it doesn't at all.  I don't wanna get a new keyboard so I figured I'd ask if you guys would know what was wrong with it.  Thanks, bros!

I'm not a huge expert either, bu to me that sort of sounds like an issue with the switch. I believe the switches in that keyboard are made by kaihua/kailh and I don't know how reliable they are. If the issue does indeed come from the switch, replacing it should fix it. If you have soldering equipment you could try doing it yourself, and if not, an electronics repair service should be able to do it for a reasonable price.
