A quick note, the base set will cover 40% orthos completely, and I thiiiiink you would be safe on a 60% as well. Don't want to try to dissuade you if your mind is made up, but anyone else, just wanted to let them know!

I'm including some pics of the caps in different lighting conditions. I think the alpha is very nice, and I think the mod (which again imo was the harder tone to hit) is a home run.

Personally, I believe these are great colors that work well together, and will make the set really stand out. I understand the criticism of the alpha base color. It's a bit lighter in pictures than it comes across in person. I think the first picture here is the one that makes the real color come across. I think they look great together, and as far as shifting in light, they do shift, but I don't think that is a bad thing, when that happens.

You can keep an eye on MechMarket at reddit after they ship (usually a slight mark up in price since people sometimes buy extra kits for profit), or ask AlexAtPanc if there are extras, or if anyone wants to sell their spot in the group buy. Someone actually sold me their spot.

Hey there, the order has indeed been placed and paid!

As a note: in most cases, GMK requires payment before they do sampling, that's why most GBs you see have their samples acquired after the GB takes place.

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on a more firm date from GMK's end as far as production/shipping goes, so trying to make any sort of estimate here would be irresponsible on my part.

I'm definitely going to be sending out email updates as they happen. I didn't think sending out pictures in an email was the best way to go. However, I realize that some people do wait for emails from me, rather than checking the GH post, so I apologize to those folks!

Yea, you’re right. The pink definitely doesn’t match well. Guess I was mainly looking at the darker half.

I picked up some techflex and paracord that comes close to the shades we're looking for. I haven't had any time to assemble, but I plan on getting them put together soon!

Hey everyone!

Found out that the sets were shipped to us yesterday!

Not 100% sure on how long it should take to get from Germany to the US, but we're officially on the home stretch!
