Maybe it's just me, but I think this is funnier than just adding big block letters across the photo... That always seemed to me like a sledgehammer approach, like someone was desperate for attention. This seems a bit more subtle 'n' artistic.

Also, doesn't the meme thing usually express a general observation of some kind? (E.g., CAN'T GET FIRED IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB.) Whereas speech and thought balloons are someone actually saying or thinking something, rather than just throwing a blanket declaration at everyone.

That's how I see it, anyway. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate the meme thing. Or maybe no one pays attention to anything subtle anymore, because they're so used to being hit over the head with BIG, LOUD STUFF all the time. Dunno. I'm just saying. Okay, there it is. Ahem.

BTW, Computer-Lab in Basement (do your friends call you "Comp 'n' Base" or something?): What does one do to become an "Elevated Elder" like you? I've been here for 3-1/2 years, and I know how to use semicolons, which seems like an elder-type thing; isn't that enough? Or maybe it takes 5 years, or 10? Or maybe you have to hoard collect a certain number of cool keebs? I do have quite a few, but I'm not sure how cool they are by official standards. Anyway, just curious.

Wha!!!??? You mean I could actually elevate myself, in this very thread, by posting only a few more messages to top 1000? How ironic would that be?

I'm really debating whether I should do it, though, since, as you've undoubtedly noticed, I normally restrict myself to posting only the most relevant and useful information.

Every college campus I've been to in the last 4 years are 95% Asian and Indian exchange students anyways, American kids just don't go to college anymore.
