Yeah. I'm gonna have to look at it tomorrow when I have some natural light. I really can't see it using a flashlight - my eyes could be that bad. I appreciate you pointing it out though!

It's been polished quite a bit, and you can polish it with something like a jeweler's cloth.  I would only suggest doing it more than I already have if you are very very careful not to take too much material off.

Cool, I probably won't, just wondering if it was possible. The work you did already highlights the detail really well. The evil smirk he has is soooooo sick. :thumb:

Glad you like it!  Please let me know what you think about the key when you put it in a keyboard.

Well its on a board now, I really like how it feels to press. I'd say it's a great height for Cherry profile but a bit to low for OEM (the taller caps hide it), it would look great with DSA but I don't have any. When the cap is on a board you only see a smidge of the eyes but it frames the mouth so perfectly! I can't stress how much I love the evil smile on this cap, it's seriously kickass. Definitely one of my favorite designs to look at when it's on a board. I'm really looking forward to more of these coming out. Also the metallic colors really highlight the detail of the mane and teeth. I think colors like grape pop, deep silver, and blush would look great. Also I'd kill someone for a Very Very Sky Blue one. That being said I think your marble colors would hide some of the cap's detail, but I could be wrong. If there is anything else you want me to check just let me know, I'll PM you anything else I notice over the next weekish.

Ok here's some more pictures of the V3, I'm naming him Scar. I had so much fun making this and I'll make another if anyone is interested.  :thumb:

Scar's Rampage 1
More
So Slow-Fi was just going about his business, smoking a J and listening to some Chill Ass Jamz but I guess his open back cans were annoying Scar.

The spirit of mischief turned into evil and Scar became jealous of his older brother. He figured if Black Dew didn't have a stem then his owner would no longer like him.

Due to his evil morning activities it appears that Scar missed the weekly poker game. He is not happy.

WAIT!!!! NO....

Binge this is your fault. Scar became mad with power, he's totally nuts!

Finally the police arrived and handled the situation.... But inside sources tell me that Scar somehow got his hands on a metal file.

I won't speak for Binge, but I think I know the answer here so  :P

Hoot was his wife's design, and she has stopped participating in the cap-making process AFAIK, so it seems to be retired.  :(  And he does retire old designs, I do know that much.  Keeps him on his feet and stops from stagnating (among other possible reasons).

And this design popped up at a time when the stars aligned and a few members got quite a few caps each.  Whether it be from a lack of attention by others, spontaneous sales, etc, that's how it happened.  And I'm only a little bitter that I don't have one.  :))

And this design popped up at a time when the stars aligned and a few members got quite a few caps each.  Whether it be from a lack of attention by others, spontaneous sales, etc, that's how it happened.  And I'm only a little bitter that I don't have one.  :))

Thanks for the answer Hoffman. I'll assume I'll never be getting one of these  :(  ;)

I swear that Binge said a V2 was in the works. Maybe someone can find a quote.

Fingers crossed.

hwood, that pic shows just how much light depth tungsten can provide to a plastic cast.  Looks great with dolch!  When are you gonna come make keys?
