This article is a bit long but extremely well focused and worth the read.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2022/12/16/2142212/-What-the-Final-Stage-of-Reaganism-Looks-Like

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

ok , yes republicans did do all of those things, buhhhh are democrats categorically better.  they are no less wealthy, no less political doners, no less major land owners, capitalists, medical bill predators, etc.

bill gates, a democrat doner, silicon valley,  knee deep in the weapons industry with his modular rea(tors,  understand this, 70% of the budget of our department of Energy is spent on Nv(lear, which produces a tiny fraction of all our electricity,  the bulk of it is weapons and military expense.

there probably isn't a political solution. it's the nature of man to have its mind and government rot with age.

nature will hit the tipping point, and the great calamity is likely to reset humanity. again, we're already IN the Anthropocene extinction event, it's happening RIGHT NOW, the house is on fire, we're all in it.

yes, vote democrat, but be realistic, so that you won't be disappointed when they're every bit as fascist, it's just how humans behave when they're in power.

the only way this works, is if we revolt, everyone strikes, have our own cultural revolution, eat the rich, all of them. we do have the power, exercise it.

I used to think it was so absurd that Hitler was able to stage a full-on coup d'etat and only go to jail for a year when it failed.

Apparently though, nowadays you don't get even that.

He created a pitiful lame ersatz Twitter wannabe called "Truth Social" which has been his new soap box.

I just read the indictment, it is only 49 pages long.
Whew! They really do operate like a classic organized crime family.
Very little doubt that important military secrets were for sale to the highest bidders.

in reality most military secrets are worthless because we're at the point where no real wars can be fought without planetary annihilation, so realistically, it's all posturing.

You might want to read the indictment.

It is not about actual information on war-fighting, it is about the monetary value that a variety of players might pay for information on a variety of other players.

The Saudis did not pay Jared Kushner $2Billion with a "B" because they intend to attack the US.

Not everything is about "winning" a war..

Names of spies (ours, theirs, allies...), secret technology and alliances, technological capabilities, defense capabilities, submarine locations, invasion plans of friends and enemies (we have multiple for everyone), military deployments, compromising info on allies and enemy leaders and possible future leaders....

Knowledge is power.
The fallout from this is going to change world politics for decades, our allies already lost a ton of faith in us and we aren't even sure what all has been compromised.

For those who've never had a security clearance,
I know it sounds cool to have secret info or a security clearance but the truth is you really don't, it has no value except to bad actors and now you have to be mindful of anything you say/do/go and of course the people you meet. That info can get you or others (including family) kidnapped, tortured or killed. If you think about it, you really don't want this info especially at higher levels if you can avoid it. Besides, what good is knowing the greatest secret if you can't tell anyone and could get you tortured and killed?

So ask yourself, why would someone who openly said he didn't trust our intel community and rarely sat in for intel briefings have so much of it?
Two things I can think of is Kushner's $2B deal with the Saudis (an enemy of Iran), as well as the sudden takeover of PGA Tours US and EU by Saudi owned LIV Golf right after they announced they were banning Trump courses from the tour.

By the way, I HIGHLY recommend watching this while keeping in mind what is currently going on. It should scare the hell out of you.

What is at the core of SECRETS.

Secrets are only necessary when any person or group is Overprovisioned (overpaid) or Overpowered (almost all political office).

This is a fundamentally stupid arrangement of leadership.  The only reason ANYONE has anything to lose, is because they've taken or have been paid MORE than they need and/or are capable of efficiently managing (overpower).

Wars are fought over which Oligarch gets the Excess, all the while, they tell the Plebs to go die for them. But they say it's for Pride and Nationhood.

All oligarchs of All Nations  ARE BAD,

Plebs need more education. Don't fight the Oligarch's wars for them.

I HIGHLY recommend watching this

I watched it, fearful of "oh no, what now?" but I knew almost all of it already. But then, I have been reading extensively on this for years now.

2 books that delved deep into this material are House of Trump, House of Putin by Unger and How Democracies Die by Levitsky.

Now here it is from the "mainstream media"

https://abcnews.go.com/US/after-white-house-trump-allegedly-discussed-potentially-sensitive/story?id=103760456

Oh I saw this. Mar-a-lago was basically a spy hotspot cause of the amount of things that trump would just reveal on a whim. He is the reason why spies in china were arrested or killed cause he revealed this info. This is why I see trump as more funny than evil because of how stupid he is.

• “He places our nation’s security at risk,” said Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.

• “A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law. God help us!” said White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

imagine a world where Americans actually had a choice in who runs their country lol. instead we have

Choice A: Old guy who likes ice cream and cant remember where he is or what he is doing, cant form sentences

Choice B: Old guy who likes money (and... showers...), cant form sentences for a different reason (he doesn't finish sentences, just keeps rambling forever)

a young, fit, intelligent, cultured human who understands every side and makes choices to benefit not corporations but the common people of the United States... ah, I'm daydreaming again.

Are you ****ing kidding me?

Joe Biden is a brilliant tactician who has managed tremendous acheivements in the face of colossal opposition, primarily because of his knowledge and experience - although he is not perfect (eg Israel/Palestine).

PS - both his physical and mental health are excellent for a man of his age.

One can critique the current landscape of aging politicians and also support one. We don't have alternatives. Biden isn't some soon-to-be late stage dementia patient, but you can see he isn't as quick or put together as a young buck. We have no shortage of leaders over the age of 40, but under 60. Why we focus all our efforts on these folks who should either be retired or should be consultants/etc vs the actual leaders is beyond me.

Biden's had a stutter all his life, it takes a lot of concentration to keep it from happening when he speaks. Don't mistake a speech impediment for a memory problems.

Every video I've seen of Biden supposedly being "out to lunch" has been edited or even flat out doctored, including the latest making the rounds on Reddit the other night. The fact that anyone believed that one surprised me it was so bad.

The thing for him now is anyone who is willing to work with him will need to be sure their noses are squeaky clean. As any form of support via lending will be heavily scrutinized and I'd rather not invite cops into my home, regardless of how clean it is. I can 100% understand why nobody wants to put up a billion in cash.

With the Supreme Court willing to run interference for him at every turn, he might be able to worm around and get most of his indictments and appeals postponed until after the election.

It just does my head in that Trump is even allowed to run in his current state of affairs, and even more boggling, there are people who still support him after seeing what he is capable of.
And a lot of libs will say his supporters are braindead midAmerica uneducated gun-toting yokels, but I can absolutely assure you that is not totally the case. What is really scary is there are people I personally know, who I consider to be very intelligent, who still fall for the propaganda. What is even more dangerous is those smart people can take those watery headlines and muddle them in such a way they use it to dupe dumber people. It is cultish and crazy.

Based on dark web (onspiracy sites.  Drumph likely ran the same service as eps7e1n did only far more expansive through his casino/hotel/club pathways.

This cult, so to speak, spans very large involving other world governments.

For me, the strangest part is how so many "religious" people ignore his evil and insanity.

Based on research, this is not insanity, the unsavory subject is prevalent throughout human history in every era, especially among the ruling class.

For a lot of these people, they are fearful that Christianity will be suppressed due to the rising amount of people that are agnostic or just hate Christianity , so they turn to the republican party who preach that they will keep those traditional values. A lot of these people are also just naturally conservative, scared that the woke left will take over and stuff like that as well.

I also know you said religion as a whole but I feel a lot of people from other religions will not support trump because of the bigotry that he and his party says.

They also believe they're "better" than everyone else.
They can lie and cheat and just ask forgiveness or tell themselves god wanted this for them and if they can lie and cheat obviously everyone else must lie and cheat even more. It's the same reason they wonder why atheists aren't going around killing people because without a book/church telling them how not to, they would, which tells you a lot about some of these people.

This is why they fear the left being in charge, they know what they themselves would do if they were in charge and unrestrained. Trump taps into that exact narrative when he talks about being a tyrant... but only on the first day.

So I have no idea how it is in reality, or especially what sentiments are actually prevailing in the US, but from where I'm watching, and how the media is portraying it, it frankly sounds like there's a 99% chance Trump is going to be re-elected. Is this accurate?

U.S. news media wants a fight, it's good for ratings so they're always going to make it sound like it's neck or that the underdog is winning (especially Trump, he's traditionally good for ratings).

Could he though? Yeah, our electoral system gives conservatives an edge but his chances are probably less then they were in 2020. He's not gaining support, he's actually losing it. He's not winning over undecided, a lot of Republican voters died during Covid, and there's a bunch of Genz voters coming into voting age and they're overwhelmingly anti-Trump. He's also very broke, as is the Republican party and it's quite expensive to run for president, you need lots of advertising dollars to grab those undecided voters, they're the ones who (usually) decide the election and because both candidates are incumbents there's very few of those left (we know where each candidate stands). That means you're now going to have to try and pull votes from the other guy, and that costs even more money. Trump doesn't have it and big donors are fleeing.

What she said.

Drumpf is absolutely toxic in the real world. 40% of Nikki Haley supporters plan to support Biden with both votes and money.

Volume of loudness does not equate to volume of voters.
