How to Unwatch a locked thread

Is there a way to "unwatch" a locked thread?  It's a closed IC thread that I don't want showing up on my watch list anymore, but I don't have the option to unwatch it

Watched threads will only appear if there are unread posts, so you can jump to the last page which will mark all posts as read, then it won't show up anymore.

Are you not able to unwatch threads if they've been locked?  I wasn't aware of that being disabled when a thread is locked.

I have it on the "ALL WATCHED TOPICS" view.  I could switch it to the view option that only lists them when there are new posts.  I just like seeing what all I'm watching.

Here are the options I get on the the thread I linked above.

Ok seems like locked posts does not have the watch/unwatch button, but you can manually override it!

First copy this: https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=unwatch;topic=97855.0

Then copy the link location of the unwatch button on this thread, should look something like this:

https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=unwatch;topic=101528.0;efec (not writing the whole efec line since its my authentication token for posting.)

Copy the authentication token aka ;efec37f...

and put it after the first line, so https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=unwatch;topic=97855.0;efec37f... type it in to your browser and press enter and you should be able to unwatch. This works for every function that may be disabled as the thread is locked

Hover over this button, and copy the URL. It's the series of numbers and letters after the semicolon.

I learned something new: (1) right-click the locked thread's Notifiy button and (2) copy the link, (3) paste into address bar, (4) replace the copied thread's "action=notify;sa=on" with "action=unwatch" and (5) execute it.  The locked thread is now unwatched.

I passed on too many GMK sets this year, some that I really regret (Emir's GMK Rouge at the top of the list). Moving on this one!

Now I have to hack GH to get the locked IC thread out of my Watched Topic list.

I just right-click the locked thread's Notifiy button and copy the link, replace the copied thread's "action=notify;sa=on" with "action=unwatch" and execute it.  The locked thread is now unwatched.
