yeah, generally for Australian order they are shipped from the US, however for future buys, including raindrop, i think i will now ship them myself from the UK to take some of the load off raccoon

Actually I think stuff you send arrives a little bit faster than stuff shipped from the US!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's actually cheaper to send anything via post from the UK to my address here, hence go UK postage all the way Bunny  :thumb: .

it works out abotu the same to ship from here to australia as it does form the states i think, it costs me about 20 dollars, but then i also have to factor in shipping form the states to me, however, this is what im gonna do, it takes some of the load away from raccoon, and will most likely result in sets going out faster, so as of raindrop, i will be shipping the sets also to malaysia, indonesia, australia and new zealand

I picked up an ergodox kit from Binge - came in a while ago but just got around to laying them out to take a picture:

Also, love the box art that came with it. Beardomancy!

In the email that was sent out last Thursday, it stated "CONUS orders have begun shipping." So that implies the answer to your question is yes.

My caps arrived today. It has been a long road, but they look fantastic. Thanks to all involved and I'm looking forward to what is coming soon from Bunny.

I have a week off work, so I won't be able to put them on a keyboard until next Thursday.

Lucky devil  :thumb: .  YES, Penumbra is indeed a nice colour-way for any keyboard.

I would like to insist on some potato-shots but that would only elicit more pornographic dreams relating to this key-set  :-[ .

As much as I want to see pictures, I'm kinda with Elrick in that it makes the waiting so much harder.  SO CONFLICT! :))

I'm itching so much for this set. Probably doesn't help that I got into some poison ivy over the weekend.  :p

Seriously though, thank you for posting the picture skuko. If you ever need some help keeping that set safe-and-secure until you're ready to use them, please let me know.  :thumb:

Still no tracking for mine.
WTB a different distributor...
I'll just buy second hand from Binge next time.

ok, so although im gonna reply to your comment in particular, you are really gonna get the brunt of a bit of built up stuff regarding your point

firstly, your attitude really pisses me off, whether or not you are trying to be funny

so, for a start, binge has his sets, because i got them to him
next, all of the sets i was sending, with the exception of 2, were sent in under 24 hours of me receiving the sets
i spend literally 4- 10 hours of every day working on this stuff, i dont know what you expect me to do, i dont ship canadian orders, we have a conus and canada proxy, he has the order numbers, he has the shipping money, and he has the keysets, i try and contact him frequently, last i heard from him, he packed up a ton of orders and sent me a pic of it, i havent been able to contact him since, im sure he is busy, this isnt a job, this is a hobby, we all work on this during our personal time, i just happen to have more leisure time than most people

we are all here because we want these keysets, your input was click a couple buttons and sit back and wait, we build and maintain a website to facilitate that being easier for you, design the mockups of the sets, get quotes, assume all the risk, collect all the payments, deal with chargebacks,  order transfers and changes, late orders, constant questions, split the set between different proxies, do the sorting, pack the orders, ship them, deal with missing keys and orders

i am doing all i can, whilst you make snarky comments at me

my sets are out, raccoon has your set, they are packed, they should be out soon

in short

feel free to buy second hand next time

Given the overwhelming contribution Bunny et al., has made to the keyboard enthusiast community, this comment is underserved and petty.

Agreed. We all get impatient sometimes and snarky -- I know I do -- but wether it was intentional or not, your comments are really uncalled for.

ok, so although im gonna reply to your comment in particular, you are really gonna get the brunt of a bit of built up stuff regarding your point

firstly, your attitude really pisses me off, whether or not you are trying to be funny

so, for a start, binge has his sets, because i got them to him
next, all of the sets i was sending, with the exception of 2, were sent in under 24 hours of me receiving the sets
i spend literally 4- 10 hours of every day working on this stuff, i dont know what you expect me to do, i dont ship canadian orders, we have a conus and canada proxy, he has the order numbers, he has the shipping money, and he has the keysets, i try and contact him frequently, last i heard from him, he packed up a ton of orders and sent me a pic of it, i havent been able to contact him since, im sure he is busy, this isnt a job, this is a hobby, we all work on this during our personal time, i just happen to have more leisure time than most people

we are all here because we want these keysets, your input was click a couple buttons and sit back and wait, we build and maintain a website to facilitate that being easier for you, design the mockups of the sets, get quotes, assume all the risk, collect all the payments, deal with chargebacks,  order transfers and changes, late orders, constant questions, split the set between different proxies, do the sorting, pack the orders, ship them, deal with missing keys and orders

i am doing all i can, whilst you make snarky comments at me

my sets are out, raccoon has your set, they are packed, they should be out soon

in short

feel free to buy second hand next time

I am surprised you even responded to that crap.  We love you Bunny, don't let a few impatient people get under your skin.  Don't get me wrong, it would piss me off if I had to put up with that crap...

To add some perspective for anyone who is *****ing...  I paid for Round 5 before this GB even started and that GB is not even in production yet (from what I can tell).  I will be receiving my Penumbra sets long before my Round 5 sets.

There is no other GB organizer who gets GBs turned around as fast and cleanly as Bunny.  He is BY FAR the fastest, most responsive and generous GB organizer on GH, so everyone needs to CHILL THE **** OUT...  Yes, we are all excited for these sets because they are epic, but cool your jets and show some ****ing respect for the hard work these guys are doing for you...

thank you for being nice guys

i can promise everything done on my end is very fast and efficient, i am painfully aware we got a bit backed up on the US side of things, but people understand nobody is twiddling their thumbs on the job here, raccoons time was very limited for a while, and he took on a lot of stuff, he has to send the orders to both me and asia, receive everything of course, pack the US and canada stuff ( which is always by far the most orders) and make a ton of cables,

the cables aare what caused us most of the issues outside of raccoons schedule, because of the price point we sold them at, we sold way more than we anticipated, and the number grew bigger with every buy, we didnt wanna stop offering the cables as they were popular, nor did we wanna artificially increase the cost to thin the numbers, so here we are, playing catch up, but the catching up is happening, we have the sets, most are packed and out or about to be out (still waiting on hearing back from raccoon as to the status of that)

he assures me everything is in hand now and i have every faith in him, if people could just be a little patient, we will have everything out to you soon

its not like we are keeping people in the dark here, or not responding, im always here, and if anyone ever has any concerns you can always pm me
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON

Your effort is amazing.
If everyone put in the amount of effort you did I'm sure we would all have our caps.
Didn't mean to rustle everyone's jimmies.

So some ingrates have been picking on my Bunny here, were are these immensely selfish arseholes?

I've got a pair of greased up gloves and a 40inch rusty pipe just for them.  If they have no idea of what a gape is, they shall certainly get to experience it, up close and personal  >:( .

NO ONE picks on my Bunny here and I mean no one  8) .

As always Bunny is making it happen day by day.  Considering how many Key-sets [CTRL]ALT is responsible for sending all over the globe now, is something so nightmarish I wouldn't wish it upon my worse enemies.

Yet Bunny still keeps a sane disposition despite the enormity of the tasks that have been set and it's being done even as we speak (type)  8) .
